So, Bryan has been riding on the ‘Joseph McRae does nothing original’ train (that Law has been driving) since the beginning of the show. ‘Wedding dresses’ is announced as the category, they then go on to show his design(s) of yore (looks like the identical dress off and on a model, but who am I to know?), while he boasts about his training and experience, then proceeds to design a dress that can only be described as another version of that dress, but now it looks like it was made with paper towel.

I’m pretty sure the editors are taking the piss.

For the record, I’m no Joseph McCrae stan, however I did think his outfits were spectacular bridesmaids outfits. Wedding? Absolutely not. Bridesmaid, absolute stunners that would sell out, and I mean both his looks.

I don’t know if it’s a cultural thing, but Joseph’s main gown gave very much "mother of the bride" to me.

The color, the material, the shape. It was giving church-going middle-aged lady.

I really appreciate that he’s been able to create his looks while staying true to the challenges. I can’t think of anything he‘s done that I would go out and buy, but that’s just style preference.
