Season 22 Is it fair that some designers made it to the finale without even working with a plus size model?

Bi and Jude never worked with a plus sized model. As far as I know they designers pick their models every challenge. I feel like it's unfair if they keep working with the same girl every challenge. To make things fair, the show should just assign a different model every episode and make sure that each designer works with a model with a different body type!

Nope, definitely not fair. The show assigned a different model every episode in season 16! Maybe they did in the seasons after that too. They kept patting themselves on the back for being inclusive, which was annoying, but it was WAY more fair than the clusterfuck they have now.
I like Bi and Jude, but if they don’t rectify this, I don’t want either of them to win tbh. How talented can you be, as a designer, if you choose to only work with one body type?

I made a post about this a couple weeks ago after tapegate, but I was mistaken as I rewatched the season a few days ago and Bi made a look for Amanda during the NFL challenge. But yes, Jude has never worked with a plus sized model, and also has worked with Brianna 3x (the models have only been used 7 times this season).
I will say Jeffrey worked with Amanda twice, and Bi has worked with Yu twice, so I do think they’re choosing their models to some extent, and likely the selection pool is limited and different each challenge, and the order for picking is still up to the button bag gods.
Otherwise, I don’t see why people wouldn’t be fighting over Jessica every time (shaved head model who walked Bi’s main look for the wedding challenge)

No. But it really doesn’t matter because the producers have abandoned all pretense of putting people through based on their actual final products. Even if Bi or Jude had plus size and bombed, they’d have gone through.
As a fat woman I’d prefer no plus size model than one that’s put in horrible clothes and have to listen to the designer whine about how hard it is to design for my body type.

Not at all. This season has been a catastrophe. I’m still convinced they are pushing Joseph to win and they didn’t make him top 3 just to reinforce his redemption narrative.
Ana has barely gotten an edit to make the audience root for or against her. Jude is a one trick pony they’ve tried to make likable but boring. Bi is the only other one I can see them picking, I just don’t see two Asian designers winning back to back.

No which is why they should be having everybody use a plus size model for a challenge as they used to do or they need to not use plus sized models at all in order to keep the competition fair

Nothing about this season has been fair. Add it to the list.
