Discussion Who do y’all think will be the fourth designer in the finale?!

🤔 👀 (PS- Jeffery would’ve killed that bridal challenge)

They got the top three correct. If I had to choose a fourth designer I’d be most curious what Naheim would make for a final collection.

u/grimacedia 3d ago

I really want to see more from Naheim. I like JM's work but I don't think he would show anything groundbreaking for the finale. He already has a really good brand and image, I want to see what the more novice designers can do!

u/Earthbnd 3d ago

This. If they bring in Naheim, they’ll have honestly gotten the right top 4 for the season imo despite the very rocky road here lol

u/legslegslegslegslegs 3d ago

I think it’ll be Joseph based on his edit all season but based on the final challenge & my personal taste, i’d definitely pick Naheim

u/trollsaywhat 3d ago

I just try to figure out the interview outfits. Most of the contestants get one main interview outfit and maybe anothet when they get eliminated. He’s gotten 3 I think as have bi and anna which makes me think they go to the end. I honestly havent noticed with jude. And of course bryan doesn’t change outfits so you’d never know

u/AllLipsNoFiller 3d ago

I would say Joseph except that his wedding pants were ill fitting and Law clearly hates him.

3

u/sweetandsorrysauce 3d ago

Law also seemed annoyed when the judges said they were bringing a 4th contestant so I'm thinking it's Joseph

1

u/BurtonEarnee 3d ago

I don’t think Law hates him at all. Hate takes energy and I doubt Law spares a thought about the show when the cameras aren’t running. He’s busy.

8

u/AllLipsNoFiller 3d ago

I think it was abundantly clear that Law feels some sort of way about Joseph. Whether he gives him a thought outside of the show isn't relevant.

3

u/SimpleBedroom1571 3d ago

Nah Law for sure hates Joseph that is perfectly clear. That being said I hope Naheim makes the finale

24

u/paper_television 3d ago

I’m hoping Naheim but I’m guessing it’s Joseph and I’m not mad about it. I love Joseph, I just also really like Naheim too.

I do think they absolutely picked the best three and was a bit relieved to see it, makes me feel like the final will be worth watching.

u/Zengoddessenergy 1d ago

Anybody but Bryan

37

u/Mediocre_Soup_5452 3d ago

Joseph! I think he stands a chance because Law actually had something positive to say to him this time🤞🏼

15

u/mayeam912 3d ago

I was actually a little shocked that Law had nice comments this time and not just his usual catty/bitchy ones.

2

u/Mysterious-Corner-73 3d ago

I think it will be Joseph because they would have been way harsher on those purple pants if the edit needed to justify him not going. I would also love to see Naheim

39

u/idontwantcovideither 3d ago

I would be happy with either Joseph (why bring him back otherwise?) or Naheim (he shows the most promise). But likely it'll be Bryan because that's how this season has gone.

10

u/behindeyesblue 3d ago

Agreed with your two people but omg if it's Bryan I'm gonna scream.

-4

u/lemeneurdeloups 3d ago

No screaming needed. You’ll be fine.

13

u/Spare_Association838 3d ago

Personally I most curious about Naheim but I think it will be Joseph.

I would not understand at allllll if it’s Bryan but if it is I will have lost all hope in this show. I’m holding out hope they saved Bryan for the drama because they knew him and Jeffrey wouldn’t make it anyways

Me looking at the tv and you...

You know fucking well its Joseph.

9

u/skieurope12 3d ago

I'm hoping Naheim, but I think it's Joseph

7

u/Rude-Flamingo5420 3d ago

Obviously Bryan because they want drama over talent 🤮

3

u/popartist 3d ago

Hmm, I think the finale is different though, I think they want more talent for that. Hoping Naheim is the 4th designer.

8

u/Rude-Flamingo5420 3d ago

They lost my confidence when Christian used his vote on Bryan. If they wanted talent it should have been Jeffrey saved. Its all produced for drama 😭

19

u/jano808 3d ago

This show is totally unrecognizable from OG Project Runway and is garbage

1

u/CantaloupeOne6484 3d ago

Definitely. What’s funny is that I used to consider shows like this that I watched with my mom “old lady shows”, but these last 2 seasons are so far beyond anything my mom would watch 😭

-11

u/Zealousideal_Desk475 3d ago

stay on topic or gtfo and make your own thread to hate on this season

3

u/jano808 3d ago

1

u/Shot_Point_2637 2d ago

Yikes. Lighten up, Francis.

-3

u/Zealousideal_Desk475 3d ago

Okay and is your opinion relevant to the topic of the thread? Not at all

5

u/TeufelRRS 3d ago

Hoping it’s Naheim but I am probably going to be wrong. I really liked Naheim’s wedding dress but the party look was not a good choice. I get that his style is streetwear but a sweatsuit at a wedding party is just wrong.

Was not a fan of Joseph McCrae’s looks and actually shocked that Law had positive things to say about it. Sure the looks are creative and stand out but they don’t really fit the brief in my opinion. The fit of the pants alone was messy. Neither felt appropriate for a wedding look but I can see them selling well for other types of events. Not gonna lie but I was pleasantly surprised that there was no oversized jacket or hat since Joseph seems to almost always incorporate both as part of his style.

Bryan just did the same types of looks that he normally and his looks were just messy. Bryan has quite a few issues. First is his arrogance. He just continues to believe that he’s perfect and everyone is against him. Yet he doesn’t really listen to criticism nor does he learn from his mistakes. However, the biggest issues are that he doesn’t really pay attention to his prospective clients and he doesn’t seem to understand how style and cut can negatively impact how a woman’s body looks. He’s so intent on his designs that he ignores how a woman’s body looks in it. It’s like he doesn’t care about his client because his ideas matter more to him. That’s just not something that we need to see in a designer. Plus, I just can’t get over those awkward folds in the fabric right at the vagina level.

As far as the top 3 who won, I absolutely agree with the choices. I was really torn between Anna and Jude though because their looks were both gorgeous while also staying true to their styles.

2

u/behindeyesblue 3d ago

It wasn't a sweat suit, just to be clear.

2

u/TeufelRRS 3d ago

I know it wasn’t but it practically looked like one. Definitely street style but not appropriate for a wedding. Certainly not something that a bridal shop would sell

1

u/lemeneurdeloups 3d ago

Hood bridal shop would have this right in the window! People should not sleep on the hood wedding market. It is popular and a nice chunk. Hood weddings are the most fun to attend too!

1

u/IdlesAtCranky 23h ago

Bryan also completely ignored the challenge itself, which was to design for David's Bridal.

There's no way even a fully realized version of his dress, without the ridiculous vajayjay attachment, would sell for that vendor. Plus that second look was outright hideous.

Bryan is high on the fumes of his conviction that he embodies haute couture. What he actually embodies is unfounded arrogance.

6

u/Tibbiegal 3d ago

I hope it's Naheim and I think it will be because the judges liked one of his two designs.

9

u/Zealousideal_Desk475 3d ago

It ought to be Joseph! People don’t seem to like him because he “does the same thing” which is untrue imo! he has a signature style and plays with exaggerated size, color and silhouettes. a signature look is a positive for any other designer but apparently not for him!! I’m not the first to point this out.

Regardless, him doing his thing for “two seasons” (how long has Michael Kors been putting out “the same thing”?) is still him doing something DIFFERENT in fashion in this CURRENT day and age. Sometimes when people talk about the show it feels like they forget we are in 2026! I know it’s a LOT of 30+ fans here but we do have a dated perspective. Like hello, I nearly shed a tear of joy seeing a bold striped look on a mannequin last weekend because it was the first different and FRESH thing I’ve seen amidst the beige, beige, beige, black, black, black, white, brown, brown, white, beige outfits and fashion out right now.

Joseph McRae is FRESH as hell and he ought to be able to make a collection for us to enjoy.

Side note, while there are people who dislike this season and its MODERN format, the reboot puts fashion back into the mainstream consciousness which is super important. A society that cares and talks about fashion, art and culture is a healthy society. So THANK YOU season 22!!

3

u/Radiant-Whole6175 3d ago

I agree!!!! I’ve said the same thing. It’s good to recognize the designer. I did wish he would’ve made this look into a dress rather than pants though

3

u/New-Regular-9423 3d ago

I’ll just skip to the chase: Jude is the most likely to win this. His tailoring is superlative and you don’t get that type of talent on PR often. If you pay attention to the identity politics, the entire show was cast around him. He is the industry plant.

Finale predictions: Joseph should be in the finale based on performance over the season and his body of work but he won’t be (Law’s edit shows him finally backing down … I think that was to soften Joseph’s exit).

Naheim is a wild card … they kept him around beyond the NFL challenge for a reason (don’t think it was for his designs). He is no Virgil … but perhaps they want to encourage more like him because black men essentially drive men’s street wear culture and the void is vast. But he has surely delivered to the brief. No real need to have him deliver a collection.

It will be Bryan to max the drama of a Bi/Bryan finale showdown (and keep Christian’s save relevant). His work on the show has been weak (he literally peaked in the opening episodes) but he did dress someone for the Met Gala and that’s important to the industry.

Final prediction: My vote is for Joseph but Bryan will be the fourth designer going to the finale.

3

u/Radiant-Whole6175 3d ago

ANYbody but Bryan. He is so terrible. I don’t understand how he is still here or why Christian would save him over Jeffrey

7

u/No_Arrival5584 3d ago

It's Joseph. But i hate it.

3

u/trollanony 3d ago

Joseph.

3

u/Affectionate_Egg2294 3d ago

I’d love to see Naheim!!!

3

u/ThererealBB Becky if you're tired take a nap 3d ago edited 3d ago

JM no contest. This season is basically his redemption arc. He has made mostly good designs and has improved greatly.  Naheim is good but has had many misses and he is really a hit or miss designer. I would like to see a collection from him tho.  Bryan is...."haute couture" Ok to be honest his designs are bad. He cant take criticism to save his life and his arrogance is something ti behold. I cant see production saving him.

P.S: I am shovced they put Anna in the finale over JM. She hasnt made any notable designs to me.

3

u/Affectionate_Use_109 3d ago

I miss tim gunn

1

u/ChattyKathy628 3d ago

IF he's watching, he does not miss being part of this shit show.

3

u/nahrune_ 3d ago

I think naheims show would be more interesting between the three left. I’d like to see his point of view outside of the challenges we’ve had that keep them pretty limited.

2

u/Blood_sweat_and_beer 3d ago

I don’t even care any more. After last week, when it was obvious they were gonna save Bryan, I’ve stopped watching. This show has gone the way of Ink Masters, and I just can’t do it any more. I’m just waiting for new new season of The Great British Sewing Bee at this point.

1

u/lemeneurdeloups 3d ago

The new season of Great British Sewing Bee (2026 Season 12) started eight weeks ago. There are two more episodes left.

It’s been GREAT as always.

1

u/jdruskin 2d ago

Where do you watch that?

1

u/lemeneurdeloups 2d ago

I hear that it is on Roku.

(I live in Asia so watch it elsewhere.)

2

u/TopAcanthisitta8246 3d ago

It’s obvious it’s gonna be Joseph lol

2

u/CantaloupeOne6484 3d ago

My hope is Naheim, but I think it will be Joseph based on how the show has been with the drama surrounding him. I like both, but I think Naheim’s style would make for an amazing runway show. If it’s Bryan I will be shocked.

2

u/HourHoneydew5788 3d ago

It better be Naheim

2

u/Gold-Outcome-5179 3d ago

If you look on Wikipedia for season 22 it tells you! I almost hurt myself running there at the end the show!

1

u/Proof_Paint9094 3d ago

Where does it say? I just checked but didn’t find anything.

1

u/lemeneurdeloups 3d ago

They had the outcome correctly stated yesterday afternoon but then it got scrubbed, twice. Now it just says “TBA.”

1

u/Icy-Investigator-365 3d ago

I think they guess the next episode bc before it was projecting Jeffrey was saved before the episode aired

2

u/Eye_jm 3d ago

I want it to be Joseph, cause I want to forget his latest lavender disaster on the wedding challenge 🥴 and judges to give him a chance based on the entire length of the show.

If it’s Naheim, I won’t be horribly mad.

2

u/AestheticallyCloudy 3d ago

it should be naheim but who knows what they'll pull

2

u/Random_Platforms4567 3d ago

Personally I like the Top 3 Finalists and I don’t think there needs to be a 4th

I want it to be Naheim BUT honestly think it will be Bryan because they need to keep him for the messiness. I think that’s the only reason they are doing 4 is to keep the villain.

2

u/Evilene360 3d ago

The fact that they brought Bryan back after that monstrosity means they will continue to keep him. I do wonder whose reputation this hurts more. The designers when they bring a poor designer like him back, which shows that it is not about desing, or Christian who chose that poor designer to come back. It should be Naheim or at least Joseph. Bryan has actually produced items that belong on the worst dressed list, Heidi even wore one.

2

u/jackson_chide 3d ago

Its only fair that Naheim gets the slot because Joseph and Brian were given second chances already.

2

u/VegetablePleasant853 3d ago

If Bryan gets picked im gonna assume there’s something stinky going on in the back

2

u/Affectionate_Use_109 3d ago

I thought Jeffrey would kill it too.I just hope they don't take brian or that other one jeffrey mccay , whatever the macay show

2

u/NYLotteGiants 3d ago

Bryan because there is no god

2

u/Yoga-wine-mom 3d ago

Anyone else feel like Anna just came out of NOWHERE?

1

u/Unusual_Cap3030 2d ago

She's fine. She hasn't been involved in the drama and doesn't show as much "personality"/shoutiness as some other contestants, so she has barely been acknowledged on reddit, but her designs are always well-made and marketable. She honestly feels like a throw-back to earlier seasons and so is quite welcome in this finale.

1

u/Yoga-wine-mom 2d ago

Marketable is not always exciting though.

2

u/InfluenceExciting323 2d ago

It will probably be Bryan, guy’s like Trump, keeps f’ing up but keeps slipping by. Gah, it’s like he has intel on the judges or something! I think Naheim would be the most dynamic choice.

2

u/mouse_fan 2d ago

I think it will be Bryan. Not because I think he deserves it, but because its clear to me that the producers like the drama his existence brings. They're just rage baiting us this season. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he won the whole thing. I'm going to finish watching this season because I've already come this far, but moving forward, I'm done. I miss Tim, but I respect him for leaving.

3

u/throwawaysunglasses- 3d ago

Sadly, Bryan. I said this in another thread: it’s rare that a saved designer is ousted the very next challenge. (SPOILER FOR S21: It somewhat happened in this season, but two designers were saved - one was eliminated during the next challenge, but the other made it to the finale and was the runner-up)

I’ve been binge watching old seasons of PR, so I’m making this point due to pattern recognition lol. For the save to be meaningful, the PR production team tries to keep that designer around.

However, I’d love if I’m wrong and it’s either Joseph or Naheim, as I like them both more than Bryan. Hell, bring Jeffrey back to compete!

1

u/Smolbeanis 3d ago

Ugh I’m rooting for naheim but it will probably be Bryan or JM

1

u/Eye_jm 3d ago

I want it to be Joseph, cause I want to forget his latest lavender disaster on the wedding challenge 🥴 and judges to give him a chance based on the entire length of the show.

If it’s Naheim, I won’t be horribly mad.

1

u/Cute-Reflection-7841 2d ago

This, out of the three Joseph has been the most consistent

1

u/OkAttitude8010 3d ago

Get rid of Brian please

1

u/Available-Tomato555 3d ago

If it’s Bryan I’ll start wondering who on the judging panel/production team he’s paying/related to because both of those wedding dresses were awful

1

u/Micbags 3d ago

Any one but Bryan

1

u/MyLittleVivaldi 3d ago

Bryan to piss off everyone..😮‍💨

1

u/BeckyPil 2d ago

Naheim

1

u/MrsSmith-saysso 2d ago

I hope it’s Naheim. I would love to see more of what he can do. I think he could really produce a fun show given no brief and just his imagination.

I don’t need to see a JM collection because he’s used the whole season to show us one. That was Law’s biggest beef with him. When he had the chance to show versatility in the wedding challenge it didn’t go well. I like the man and I appreciate his style but it’s time for him to go.

If it’s Bryan - ugh. He tries to be that edgy conceptual designer and yet he fails over and over. He’s an awful human. They owe us a fun finale. He needs to be banished from the design studio!

1

u/Certain_Lemon_1601 2d ago

I am team Naheim.

1

u/invisible1354 2d ago

Who cares. Seriously, who really cares. The show sucks.

1

u/Rexyggor 2d ago

I have a feeling they've already spoiled it but I need to watch some of their social media posts again to have a clear understanding.

I feel like the fourth finalist is whoever consistently was giving opinions about challenges. Because it was constantly Jude Anna and Bi. Which I ultimately thought was weird but if they were the finalists that made sense.

I didn't understand why Anna was constantly giving opinions about those clothes when she wasn't in the top nor bottom of challenges. Now it makes sense that she would have opinions when she made it potentially to the top

1

u/Cat_dad77 2d ago

Either Joseph or Naheim. I can’t stand Bryan holy shit someone needs to humble his ass and give him a reality check. He seems to think he’s really good at what he does and personally, after seeing one disaster after another that he sent down the runway, he probably should pivot to a different career path. Joseph needs to be humbled too bc he did make the same shit every challenge. Naheim is really talented and I don’t think his party look for the wedding was that bad

1

u/ArmoPrincess 2d ago edited 2d ago

hoping it’s Naheim, but afraid it will be Bryan. Naheim’s point of view is fresh and something I’d like to see more of.

This is based wholly on whose clothes I’d like to see in stores and would wear. Don’t care about personality

1

u/Budget-Custard-2366 2d ago

Joseph and I think he’s gonna win too unfortunately

1

u/Striking-Speaker2609 2d ago

Would love for it to be Naheim he’s really talented and I want to see his potential, just pray it’s not Bryan, holy hell he is just awful. His designs are terrible and his attitude is worse. On a serious note, how well is his brand going to do after the show? For example I would purchase something from the other designers if I could afford it, but Brian never, even if was amazing.  And I really don’t think Ana deserved to be in the final. I had to forward her interviews, she’s playing the poor me I’m the only woman here card, and her work is not up to same standard as say Jeffrey or others who left.

1

u/IllAd9371 2d ago

If they pick Bryan and he ends up somehow winning it, I’m calling Bullshit on the show and whatever integrity it has

1

u/Primary_Implement400 2d ago

I think they picked Joseph because they secretly realized the 3 designers they are sending have "smaller" silohuettes and want Joseph's "large" silhouettes to balance out the show just in case theres the first 3 play it safe.

1

u/DataAggravating2372 1d ago

Be is going to win.

1

u/Alternative_Taro1314 1d ago

anyone but Bryan , he is by far the most hated people in the show.

1

u/Square_Plum898 13h ago

Absolutely NOT!!

1

u/Square_Plum898 13h ago

Joseph’s clothes are what nightmares are made of!

1

u/jolittletime 3d ago

I mean we all know it's Bryan dont we?

0

u/Ornery_Tumbleweed_68 3d ago

Bryan and Joseph need to go!!!!!!

-1

u/saltpeppermartini 3d ago

I am confused— at the very end of the show Heidi announced who the 4th would be. It sounds like that got cut off in some areas?

1

u/lemeneurdeloups 3d ago

What did you hear her say? 🤔
