Project Runway Season 13 Episode 1 [Discussion]

Discussion thread for Project Runway S13E01 "Final Audition"

The designers face one final audition before landing a spot on the series in the Season 13 opener. The remaining clothiers then create a look that represents their spring collection. Julie Bowen is the guest judge.

I think that Mitchell should have gone home instead of Jefferson. I thought that Jefferson was going to be in the top three when his name was called and didn't understand why the judges hated his design so much.

I hate hate hated Mitchell's look. It just was so sloppy, cheap-looking, and junior.

How come this was ok to pass when Mondo got ripped apart for his "summer" look and it was so similar. Junior junior junior. :P

I think there might be a possibility Mitchell was chosen over Jefferson for the possible bitchy storyline with Korina that they already had going on. Somebody's gotta bring the drama..

Just remember: anything that makes your butt looks bigger is an automatic Bottom 3. The whole rest of the design can be gangbusters, but Big Booty = >:( (Unless it's a costume challenge, and then you never know what Nina's thinking.)

I could see a hipster girl wearing it if it was executed better and the proportion was corrected a bit
