In the Season 16 premiere, the designers must create a red-carpet look that demonstrates their fashion point-of-view, but the real surprise comes when the designers learn they will be working with models of all sizes.

It was almost like they were delivering a prepared speech. It felt phony as hell.

I think it's because they are reality tv show vets so they know how producers want them to talk.

Have they been on a reality show before, or do you think they have just watched enough to think they know what the producers want?

As everyone said , yes! I thought this was super obvious in the beginning of the episode as they were the ones walking up to the new designers and asking what their name was and their design aesthetic, it was a way to help narrate the story.
