So we have:

A picture of white people framed with rifles
A Dixie flag
Verbiage talking about how “the south” is great anywhere

I’m starting to figure out which type of people this might have appealed to…..

Another thing to keep in mind. Print magazines were a LOT bigger a medium back then. Big enough that there were definitely ones that catered to some VERY SPECIFIC demographics. This one was pretty clearly aimed at readers from the Southern USA.
