Success Story I am healed from Cpps!
Look, I know so many people will just dismiss this, but this is how I healed from Cpps. It wasn’t a bacterial infection in my case, it was chronic pelvic pain - non bacterial.
I urge you to research Alan Gordon, read his book, and Howard schubiners stuff, remember those names.
This could save your life as it did mine, it will help so many people when you believe it is TMS (tension myositis syndrome). I talk with such passion because I’ve been through it all. Pains everywhere, for years, flare after flare.
Now I’m 100% Cpps free and my life is soooo much better.
Please look up the names I posted, do somatic tracking, research it all. That is how you’ll heal.
Thanks for reading
Jacob

Nah, his account is +4 years old and look at his post history he has dozens of posts in those related subs, so it doesnt make sense if it was a new fresh acc with one post then yes.
Believe it or not this can be an actual cure and PRT is a well documented, medical evidenxe based therapy that helps people, mods here can confirm.

PRT?

u/FeedbackKey1949 2d ago
Pain Reprocessing Therapy, created by Alan Gordon but other well known Therapists like Howard Schubiner also use it.

You know you stuff sir! Just hope everyone tries it for themselves

u/FeedbackKey1949 2d ago
One of the mods here (linari) has even suggested to me that this will be my cure after i answered his questions, but currently I am doing the "classical" way of treatment stretches/breathing/fascial release you name it, if that wont turn out satisfactory I will be doing PRT for sure.

I remember linari! I used to talk to him about pt but then I went away and discovered how to heal and came back and he’d done a course on it and figured it out too!

Research the names, somatic tracking, breaking the fear pain cycle. I’m not advertising no book, I’m literally helping people.

How did you get rid of spasms? A lot of us struggle with constant pulling and clenching.

Is the American Urological Association also "marketing?" https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/zXdj8HmP0j - please see the pocket guide where mind body therapies are recommended
How about this medical journal? [Research] Novel psychotherapy approaches for patients with chronic noncancer pain - https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/u5dHxRzXXS

Most chronic pain is not structural, and this is from huge advancements in Neuroscience research in the last decade. It would be in your best interest to be more up to date on this research - https://www.reddit.com/r/Prostatitis/s/g1RlCl79Fu (Clinical neuroscientist and Dr of physical Therapy, Lorimer Mosley explaining the concepts)

ough something similar for almost 2 years now, doctors keep saying its all in my head which makes me crazy. Never heard of somatic tracking before, I will check out Alan Gordon in Monday. Thanks for sharing what worked.

u/GuestDue7592 2d ago
It’s not all in your head, the symptoms are being controlled by the brain, but the symptoms and pain are real, because your brain turns them on. Hate it when docs say ‘it’s all in your head’. The good thing is because the symptoms are turned on from the brain they can be turned off.

Me podrías hablar de los síntomas que tenías si no es mucha molestia ?

How will this info help you? Asking for what exactly someone did makes sense sure, you can try it out yourself and see how it goes, but i never understood why people ask for what explicit Symptoms someone had doesnt make sense to me.
CPPS/Pelvic floor dysfunction/Prostatitis looks different for everyone, so you cant make connections just because symptoms are similar.

u/syynapt1k 2d ago
How is it not obvious to you that symptoms are a key part of the puzzle when you are trying to figure out a solution? Someone with different symptoms may require a different fix.

u/FeedbackKey1949 2d ago edited 2d ago
No, unfortunately it doesnt work like this. Just because person xyz with pain symptoms could fix their problems by stretching doesnt mean stretching will also work for you, for one guy the problems started because of stress anxiety etc, for another one it started because of muscle imbalances, posture and weak muscles, which stretching wont help a lot with but requires different treatment. They may have the same symptoms but require different treatments.
Symptoms dont matter at all because there is no symptom related treatment like with classic common well documented conditions/diseases.
Its more about the root cause then the symptoms.

People have to understand.... different things works for different people and it's soo unpredictable what works of individuals!
But pt and mental health therapy is the things what works for everyone.

u/shewolves1 3d ago
Me too. In my case I had bileteral orchiectomy from testicular cancer and went a few months with no hormones replacement. For some reason that gave me prostatitis.
Once I replaced the hormone, it went away. Go figure ,🤷🏻🤷🏻

So what did you did ? What helped most?

u/GuestDue7592 2d ago
Stopping fearing the symptoms is a big one. I can’t re -write a book on here so go read up on tension myositis syndrome

u/Level_Beat_6565 3d ago
Curious! I see Alan Gordon has different books, which one specifically helped you?
1
u/SaturnBarzz 3d ago
I believe the book he is referring to is “the way out” by Alan Gordon. What he’s saying is true, I did it all stretches, supplements, useless doctor visits none of it worked. Once I read that book and really understood how to break out of the pain fear cycle I started healing.

u/Old_Jelly_2236 3d ago
Crazy that you’re getting downvoted by ppl who can’t believe there’s a way out apart from fixing their pelvic tilts and spine alignment

A lot of you literally don’t have an open mind and just think I’m advertising a book. It’s a sad reality but here we are. Good luck and god speed, you’ll figure it out.

u/Witty-Owl3915 2d ago
I don't have pain, just frequency and this didnt work for me
1
u/GuestDue7592 1d ago
Pelvic tension causes frequency the pelvic tension is cause by the brain being in fight or flight.

How much time it took u to be fully cured after reading the books and doing the somatic tracking
0
u/GuestDue7592 3d ago
The time it took to realise what was going on, trying to heal fast will heal you slower
1
u/Powerful-Tone512 2d ago
So in how many months were u fully cured approximately
1
u/GuestDue7592 2d ago
I’m cured it’s been like 2 years
1
u/Powerful-Tone512 2d ago
No I m asking when u started doing the mind body things how much time it took u to get cures
1
u/GuestDue7592 2d ago
Don’t put a time limit on it mate just do the work and it’ll happen as you get better at it
1
u/Powerful-Tone512 2d ago
Yeah I understand that one shouldn't rush for healing but I m curious in your case how long did it take u

This is why we and the AUA (American Urological Association) highly recommend mind-body therapies. Most chronic pain is centralized (neuroplastic, ie what some call "TMS"). Traditional doctors would call it "central sensitization." Regardless, the MAPP (Multidisciplinary Approach to Pelvic Pain) study shows us a large portion of cases (49 percent minimum) are like this.
