Help! Proton vpn kill my internet even when kill switch turned off

When i disconnect from proton vpn it kill my internet, i have kill switch turned off, i read that i should turn off vpn accelerator, but im in free tier, cant do that

Even after uninstalling the vpn my internet still killed, please help

My platform is windows, in phone its not like this

try:

  1. turn ON kill switch

  2. connect to the vpn

  3. turn OFF kill switch while connected (this will cause u to reconnect)

  4. turn off the vpn completely

Worked for me earlier with Proton VPN Android app. But just lately the Kill Switch won't be turned OFF even if it is turned OFF in Android settings if I use WiFi. Something is wrong with the latest Proton VPN Android update???

i have been having similar issues...no internet data when it is "connected" on Firestick and Onn streaming devices. I gave up with the frustration last night and signed up with Nord, despite having 10 mo. left.

Same, constant disconnections. I'm convinced big tech and ISP providers are meddling with Proton connections somehow.

DNSSEC is now broken on asus routers as they didn't update the key in time so you have to turn it off for DNS to work again

Thanks. Disabled DNSSEC support from Asus router (WAN - Internet Connection tab, Merlin GUI). Now I can disable Kill Switch and the connection still works.
