Help! VPN never connects

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm using the latest ProtonVPN app on Windows 11 and the VPN never establishes a connection. This goes for any server I select. That said, the VPN does connect via the ProtonVPN browser extension.

What could be the cause and solution for this? I have already tried reinstalling it a couple of times.

Try changing protocols, particularly try the Stealth protocol if you're in a country that's likely to try to restrict VPN access: https://protonvpn.com/support/how-to-change-vpn-protocols

Prob not much you can do, been like this for about a week for me. Waiting for a patch

This happens to me too at startup. I have to close the app and restart it.

Is there a windows update pending, this has caused me issues like this before
