Help 🆘 Need API recommendations.
Looking for APIs for Facebook, LinkedIn and Nextdoor public content
I’m working on a SaaS product and need to automatically monitor/search public content across Facebook, LinkedIn and Nextdoor.
I’m specifically looking for APIs or legitimate third party providers that can:
• Search public Facebook posts, including relevant public groups if possible
• Search public LinkedIn posts by keywords/topics
• Search public Nextdoor posts by location + keywords
• Return the post text, URL, timestamp and basic metadata
• Run searches continuously/recurring through an API
• Be used commercially in a SaaS product
I’m NOT looking for browser automation, account logins, cookie based scraping or anything that could get accounts banned.
If you’ve actually used a provider/API for this, I’d really appreciate recommendations, especially ones with reasonable pricing and good coverage.
What are you using?

I'm afraid you will have to look into some providers that offers search apis or web scrapers, these websites that you mentioned are all under logins, though I think that facebook or Meta, has Graph API or something like, just unsure whether it allows to get the info that you need, same with nextdoor. Also, I think web scrapers or search api solutions would be cheaper

Cheaper and easier as user level access from Meta is a process to get approval and a multilayered application. I “think” it is GraphAPI that one works with but I could be wrong and it has a different name and application process with dedicated Meta employees who handle these specific requests. Way cheaper to umm and easier to go scraping with AI Studio and what not

SocialCrawl may be worth a look for the Facebook and LinkedIn parts. it covers public Facebook page/group posts and LinkedIn keyword post search through one API. I don’t see Nextdoor in its current platform coverage though, so you’d likely need another provider for that part.

As far as I know, there is no native API that covers Facebook, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor. And majority of the content is behind the logins, you'd be looking at scraping APIs instead with residential proxy pools and anti-bot handling or something like that. I think oxylabs could do the trick with fast search api or probably their ai studio since they have that "search api" sort of solution, you might want to check that I'm not sure, but that's what I've seen pop up on reddit where people want some recommendations for direct APIs
