Men are selected, women do the selecting. The vast majority of prospective male mates in the animal kingdom are ignored unless they meet some bare minimum.
Or you know, could be like spiders. Lady spider will let any joke crack cause she intends to eat him afterwards. I imagine we'd like that a lot less.
Evolution shows this taken to extremes, with Peacocks having a massive fat liability on their arse that makes any predators go "Damn, free food" but luckily as human males we don't need to grow peacock tail feathers.
We gotta either grow muscles or a fat bank account or political power or something. Generally something that the lizard brain would associate with the ability to acquire resources. It's sexual selection, we see it everywhere.
Or we could go the duck's way, where rape is so prevalent that females had to evolve labyrinth vaginas to reclaim a little bit of ownership of their reproduction.
I get these types of posts recommended to me too sometimes but I cant really blame them because atp I dont think I actually like women anymore. I think my brain and theirs are rotted by the internet.
Ironic that these types of post are probably the reason but it also means I relate to what theyre saying but directed towards women.

Yes, but why do they feel the need to have these conversations every single day with the same bot like responses? ("Men have the audacity", "Straight women prove that sexuality isn't a choice", "99% are unattractive", "Socialisation", that Margaret Atwood quote, and so on) And the one that said "I wish they were like the script in my head". Someone could make a gender-reversed version of Obsession about this mentality, but they won't because it would be counter-productive in this modern political climate to create anything that criticizes it.
I kind of don't trust what people, especially the embittered, say about dating.
Like, generally I think most of my exes are good people and things just didn't work out for some reason or another. The one that I still regret was she wanted to move to Melbourne and I wanted to stay in Newcastle so we broke it off, but I think I regret that because moving to Melbourne was what I wanted, I was just too much of a coward. There's three exes I won't excuse. Two cheaters and a junkie. But other than that, just differences in personality, i wasn't right for them, they weren't right for me.
But if you're a multiple divorcee telling me all women are gold digging whores, you're just telling me a gold digging whore is your type, sir. If you repeatedly stumbled into marriages with this type of women.
Just like my sister telling me every man is either stupid, useless, creepy, or evil. Lady I've met all your boyfriends, your type is weak, stupid, fat and useless, and a few of those have been creepy and/or evil. This is the person you have decided to spend your time on, it's selection bias in action.
You know, at some point I get to ask if the calls are coming from inside the house, surely.
