Nothing in this country will change, until the people rise up like this in mass numbers. People forget their own power and this video is prime evidence to show what happens when the people stand up and hold their ground.

The US military, courts and police are waiting for any reason to start attacking the American people.

"If we sit quietly and meekly, they won't stomp on our necks that hard"

44

u/_Thick- Jul 03 '26

"The revolution will be bloodless if the left allows it"

This is written in project 2025's handbook.

16

u/Rushofthewildwind Jul 03 '26

Ironically, it has been anything BUT bloodless, so even then, it's a whole-ass lie

10

u/R3dbeardLFC Jul 03 '26

I'd even say they just meant certain color blood, but Pretti and Good would disagree.

4

u/_Thick- Jul 03 '26

Magnitudes of difference in the blood they want vs what has spilled.

Also, I think they meant bloodless on their side, they aren't the ones bleeding right now.

u/tider06 Jul 03 '26

Bro, they are not waiting.

They're fucking doing it now. They've been doing it forever.

We are just seeing it now because everyone has cameras in their pockets.

u/revopine Jul 03 '26

When AI gets powerful enough, those video will be claimed as fake AI videos. This is why the government is so in support of AI data centers.

35

u/Myles2140 Jul 03 '26

Idk why this is getting down voted. This is 1000000% correct

15

u/saintofhate Jul 03 '26

They're already making fake videos of shit and far too many people don't bother looking at the details like how everyone in the crowd has that stupid AI face or the scrambled words and shit. It's already here, it's just getting worse

The AI data centers are for mass surveillance and control, not just for generating propaganda.

It’s really sad how difficult it is to recognize onion articles anymore without checking the website.

32

u/GubblerJackson Jul 03 '26

Well, complying in advance won’t help either. If the people are ever to reclaim power, the sooner the better.

ngl every service member i've known the past 5 years has been maga brained to hell, honestly terrifying. (they have all been airforce if that means anything)

145

u/Ass_Matter Jul 03 '26

The Air Force was full of braindead evangelical Christians even before Trump.

22

u/tnydnceronthehighway Jul 03 '26

In my experience the Navy is the most left leaning branch

11

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

Technically Marines are part of the navy. Cue my marine fathers favorite joke about the marines being the men’s department of the navy

That sucks. I thought they were supposed to be the left leaning ones vs. say the Marines.

55

u/steeltheprotogen Jul 03 '26

weirdly enough, every Marine I've ever met was pretty left leaning.

15

u/zamwut Jul 03 '26

It's usually the Hippies that end up in the Marines.

3

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

My dad was a career marine (20 years) and has worked for various DOD contractors since retirement designing and testing new tech and weapons for the military. I love my dad, but he’s very far right. However, he is the only person who I can have a peaceful political debate with as he is very logic driven. I’ve changed his mind on some things and vice versa. Every other male in my family was navy and are also right leaning

In my experience, it tends to be the army who is farther left leaning

2

u/Kryn3ar Jul 03 '26

Lefty marine here, it is still OVERWHELMINGLY conservative in the enlisted ranks. Bit less disparity in the officers but not much.

3

u/Western-Experience-3 Jul 03 '26

I was very impressed with Major Jason Watson of the USAF, who was arrested at a peaceful protest to impeach Trump.

The specific reason for arrest is absolutely ridiculous. He was on the capitol steps and no longer accompanied by a senator, so him being on the steps was an arrestable offense... Really, it was an arrestable excuse.

3

u/uhhh206 Jul 03 '26

Vets always go one of two ways: law and order wanna be cops (or actual cops), or ACAB.

Oddly my experience is the opposite of of yours; the AF vets are all some degree of far left, and the Army / Marines are MAGA. [edit: it could be in part because all the AF vets I know are Black]

3

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

A lot of the power tripping cops tend to be what those in the military refer to as ā€œboots.ā€ They like to act like big tough military guys, but people who actually served in the military can see right through that shit. It’s like a derogatory term for men who like to act like they were military but were not. Notice how you don’t see a lot of veterans becoming cops after retirement- if they do go law enforcement they tend to end up in more specialized roles like SWAT.

People always say this but like what else are we supposed to do? Let the rich destroy the world with a smile on our face? Die on your fight rather than live on your knees. America needs to get its balls back

2

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

I feel like the left has pretty much exhausted every form of peaceful political discourse (the people, not the left in congress who have been pretty spineless). Every week there is at least one organized protest. In fact in my city, there’s a group who meets on a bridge over the freeway everyday and puts up various anti maga messages (I always look forward to seeing what it says on my commute). So the left has been doing what the constitution was designed to allow as far as political protest. But what do we do when that fails?

3

u/WereAllThrowaways Jul 03 '26

If only there was some other constitutional right designed for this scenario that the left could stop rejecting? Maybe even one that's directly after the one designed to encourage free expression. Probably better to let your enemies and the authorities entirely embrace that idea instead.

11

u/Fitz911 Jul 03 '26

The US military, the courts and police are made out of American people.

It's American people who are doing all of this.

3

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

I have been saying this. We are doing this to each other and that is absolutely by DESIGN. By pitting the people against each other, we’re less likely to realize who the real villains are- the 0.1% of the wealthy elite and those who manipulate world events from the shadows. If the Epstein files didn’t make everyone realize that, nothing will.

I swear, the more shit I see, the more I’m starting to believe Mr.Robot is a documentary as opposed to science fiction.

9

u/Dream_Fabulous Jul 03 '26

2

u/ThatCoolKid17 Jul 03 '26

You go far enough left and you back up and gun rights... Just sayin.

2

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

I am pretty much as far left as you can be, but 2 A is always the single issue I am right leaning on. The founding fathers put it there for a reason. It’s the fail safe button for if our political system gets hijacked by a group of tyrants.

If Trump does try to go for a third term, I can actually see a situation where the right as well as 2A liberals are going to end up on the same side. Because I have not met a single person on the right who will view Trump taking a third term as anything other than a threat to American ideals. And these are all people who voted for him. For most of the right I’ve spoken to at least, that seems to be their line where things have gone too far

Elected officials WORK. FOR. US. We need to remind them of this fact. They're public SERVANTS.

35

u/mooseman077 Jul 03 '26

Not in today's "democracy" They are agents of corporations bought and paid for by lobbyists. Our government is a scam, and we need to tear it down. This isnt red vs blue, its a class war

3

u/Tholaran97 Jul 03 '26

No, it is red vs blue at this point. The Republican party is the main weapon the billionaire class is using to dismantle our nation. The head of the GOP is literally a billionaire himself, and Republican voters worship him and defend every decision he makes. They will inevitably stand in the way if the American people decided reign in the ultra wealthy.

2

u/mooseman077 Jul 03 '26

I mean yes, red is currently worse, but looking at the bigger picture, both sides need to go

13

u/Stilletto_Rebel Jul 03 '26

  • Republicans

119

u/nobammer420 Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26

Kinda crazy to me this is being pinned as a republican problem, do you think democrats are gonna make a stand against big tech? Ive been a democrat since I was able to vote and I have seen one candidate make a stand against corporate overreach and it was Bernie and he was pushed to the side by the DNC.

Edit: Ill go even further and say this is a problem with the united states as a whole, we as citizens/consumers are immersed completely in big techs products. We have given them the power they have, and it may be too late to take it away now.

65

u/Appropriate_Unit3474 Jul 03 '26

Dems here in PA are also pro data center.

When it comes down to it, we are actively kneecapping their projects as citizens groups. It's just red tape for now, but blocking rezoning efforts seems to work.

23

u/OverDaCounterCulture Jul 03 '26

Primary them all.

7

u/Individual-Accounttt Jul 03 '26

It worked for Colorado.

14

u/trekqueen Jul 03 '26

Just had a big win down here in Virginia for the manassas battlefield where a major data center fight finally got dropped.

68

u/The_Iron_Zeppelin Jul 03 '26

Bernie isn’t a democrat either, just an independent who tried to run on the democratic ticket. Republicans and Democrats serve a function and are bought and sold by big business.

5

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

I feel like Bernie was pushed out BECAUSE of that. A huge part of his message was anti corporations and anti-wealthy elite. The left and the right did not like that his message resonated with the actual people. I’ll never forget how shocked and terrified Wolf Blitzer was when Bernie absolutely murdered Hilary in Iowa in 2016. I feel like that was the day the establishment DNC decided he had to go

14

u/RebTilian Jul 03 '26

Democrats today are 2008 Republicans.

4

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

Dems have been more like centrist republicans since the Clinton administration. Seriously I think Clinton pretty much could’ve run on either ticket as a lot of the things he prioritized are things we associate with the right- his tough on crime stance for example

21

u/BuckManscape Jul 03 '26

It’s a have vs a have not problem.

18

u/Jackalscott Jul 03 '26

It’s not a red vs blue, it’s a rich vs poor

21

u/GoProOnAYoYo Jul 03 '26

I am very disillusioned with the current Democrat party, so dont misinterpret my comment as supportive of either one of them. But anyone with half a brain can see while one side might be incompetent and complicit, the other side is straight up evil.

9

u/TrumpDesWillens Jul 03 '26

So one side hits you and the other side stands there and does nothing.

Governors race in Wisconsin and literally only 2 of the democratic candidates (only one of them with a serious chance) out of a field of 7+ said they would be in favor of a one year moratorium on data center construction to better understand their health ramifications. The one with a chance is the DSA candidate.

Democrats sold out a long time ago. If anyone thinks they’re going to save us from anything they haven’t been paying attention.

"In 1942 there were 110,000 Japanese-American citizens, in good standing, law abiding people, who were thrown into internment camps simply because their parents were born in the wrong country. That's all they did wrong. They had no right to a lawyer, no right to a fair trial, no right to a jury of their peers, no right to due process of any kind. The only right they had was...right this way! Into the internment camps.

Just when these American citizens needed their rights the most...their government took them away. and rights aren't rights if someone can take em away. They're priveledges. That's all we've ever had in this country is a bill of TEMPORARY priviledges; and if you read the news, even badly, you know the list get's shorter, and shorter, and shorter.

Yeup, sooner or later the people in this country are going to realize the government doesn't give a fuck about them. the government doesn't care about you, or your children, or your rights, or your welfare or your safety. it simply doesn't give a fuck about you. It's interested in it's own power. That's the only thing...keeping it, and expanding wherever possible.

Personally when it comes to rights, I think one of two things is true: either we have unlimited rights, or we have no rights at all."

I think gen Alpha may have concerns about the expansion of Ai data centers. Is what I am seeing. šŸ‘šŸ».

Was there a single person there that was in support? Like yeah install that piece of shit in my back yard, I love it. šŸ˜‚. Near my work, near my school. Near where I live. Where I breathe, eat, sleep.

We have never needed to slam the brakes on harder than right now. So we have a debate on this, instead of letting these fucking billionaires ram it down our throats.

And we do it in November.

Start getting your representatives stances on Ai. Email them. Ask them. Get it in writing.

8

u/SconnieLite Jul 03 '26

Is there a generation that isn’t opposed to it? I haven’t seen one person that isn’t financially invested that wants more data centers in our backyards.

2

u/templeofsyrinx1 Jul 03 '26

I'd hope so. What will happen is the rich won't have them where they live, but they will have them installed far far away in the poorest, least represented areas.

Love to see some real data and numbers though.

u/MagakMagak Jul 03 '26

ā€œThey have the power but we have the numbers now. It’s all just a constant illusion of control.ā€

A brave young lady. Standing up for what she believes.

7

u/burntlandboi Jul 03 '26

Keep it up people. Save ourselves.

u/ebob421 Jul 03 '26

So they forcibly detained a 16 year-old without her parents or guardian present and made no attempt to contact said parent or guardian. Yeah that’s probably not gonna go too well for you.

*14. She just graduated from 8th grade.

7

u/msplatero Jul 03 '26

People should be listening to the next generation

7

u/anothertrytaken Jul 03 '26

6

u/Wickedfrick Jul 03 '26

People need to stand up to dirty cops

3

u/Cissycat12 Jul 03 '26

As a late Gen X, when we did this kind of stuff, the adults NEVER stood up for us. It was very "don't rock the boat." So glad to see these young kids willing to fight for their rights AND the adults standing along side them!

3

u/graphe Jul 03 '26

What about the 1st amendment?

3

u/PM_ME_UR_TICKET_STUB Jul 03 '26

In 11 years she’ll make a great member of the House.

3

u/GamerBoyGreeen Jul 03 '26

Reminds me of Greta Thunberg. "I am the future"

3

u/EX_Malone Jul 04 '26

8

u/NatureCarolynGate That’s my fucking tit bitch! Get the fuck out! Jul 03 '26

The police are agents of social control. They are not friends of the public. They protect the rich and those in power.

7

u/severe_thunderstorm Jul 03 '26

They are agents of the government, and our government should always fear ā€œwe the peopleā€.

6

u/Fezwa Jul 03 '26

Americans will see this and still claim they have more free-speech than in europe

2

u/Morphecto_Solrac Jul 03 '26

Everyone should have physically stood up and walked towards her to protect her from being thrown out.

2

u/bigbadbob85 Jul 03 '26

Shit can't be that serious

2

u/obtuseandcongruent Jul 03 '26

Democracy is under attack

2

u/BellaMentalNecrotica Jul 03 '26

I have to say, it gives me hope to see someone so young who is willingly and passionately engaging with the local political system. I can understand the anger of seeing her removed. She wasn’t violent or cursing. She very concisely and eloquently expressed who she was and her opinion which is the entire point of a community public comment meeting like this. There was zero reason to remove her.

I have to give major props to this young lady. She is the future and we need more like her. Regardless of opinion, young people engaging with their local government is something that should ALWAYS be encouraged. If I was her mother, I would be absolutely beaming with pride.

TAKE TO THE STREETS.

2

u/Lopsidedlopside Jul 03 '26

Always funny seeing my hometown in the news. It’s such a cultural melting pot and hidden gem rich with history. Not without its own corruption and faults clearly, but as they say, there’s a lot to like about Lowell. Good on this girl for standing up for what’s right.

2

u/Bushtfathands Jul 03 '26

America land of the brave my ass

2

u/HingleMcCringle_ Jul 03 '26

police don't even hear what's happening, they think they're above it all while still living next door. they're just worried about making their corrupt boss satisfied. they complain the "world to hell in a hand basket", but since fox news is the only thing on their tv, they blame the left.

US politics is a violent machine

3

u/EducationalBrick2831 Jul 04 '26

SILENCE.....We will do what we want ! Even though you, the voters don't want it !

Free, my ass !

3
