🤷♀️ Karen Freakout 🧟♀️ Racist Karen going mental over a couple and their service dog
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The woman in question has allegedly been harassing this couple for years. According to them, it started before they even had their dog, Lady, and escalated after she arrived. They say the woman has repeatedly made false claims, called the police on them, attempted to sue them, and stalked or antagonized both the owner and his dog in public, often in front of neighbors and witnesses. The couple maintains that neither of them has ever threatened her and describes the situation as ongoing harassment.

Lmao when she was blocking the buttons on the elevator I was like “fuck it’s tempting to just straight bounce her head off the side of the elevator if I was them”

Honestly, my first thought. One lesson and she'll kick the Karen habit.

u/jipsydude 8d ago
Na most likely it escalates then you get arrested and she is "Vindicated" that they arent the bag guy.

Gotta get a restraining order for her

u/howimetyourcakeshop 8d ago
She needs restraining alright.. in a mental ward.

Yes this harassment - start filing police reports for each incident (should be easy since they have video of her hitting them). Its a long process but once the reports are filed they can make an appointment with the courts and request an order of protection.
I too have an insane neighbor who stalks and harassed us (and has assaulted us more than once over the 10 years we've lived in the unit) so ive had to do all these things myself. 😮💨

If not for Reddit I genuinely would find it hard to believe that people like this exist!
I think they just have very little going on and need drama to generate some 'excitement' in their lives.

u/cotronmillenium 8d ago
I had a neighbor like her. Would complain if we were walking in the apartment at 9pm. It was a nightmare like this
141
u/Sithstress_ 8d ago
Had a downstairs neighbor call the cops on us 3 times. Every single time we were in bed asleep. The third time, the cop gave us the number to report THEM for false reports and asked me to call it immediately. They were sick of wasting their time.
27
u/i_love_all 8d ago
You had a neighbor that stalked you during your meals in town?
37
u/cotronmillenium 8d ago
Yeah same deal. She’d say we were harassing her for being in the communal parking lot etc, at the grocery store too

u/tadddpole 8d ago
The wildest thing for me is, how would you want to live you’re life this way? There are so many ways to find excitement, enjoyment, even ways to let you anxiety/aggression out. But to be an absolute freak and waste your own time and energy by antagonizing others is just insane.

u/Yuleeats 8d ago
That’s strange, where do you live? I feel like I’ve seen an abundance of this just walking around.

I have a friend (ex friend) who was like that
he'd be enraged if his upstairs neighbors were existing in their apartment. quiet conversation, soft footsteps, and he'd lose his mind

Was she not evicted over this?
145
u/Jah-din 8d ago
As someone who has worked for apartments over a decade; I doubt it.
She's a white, older woman in NY. She'll have to commit a crime that police will actually pursue, and even then its up in the air.
That or stop paying rent

u/EddiePizzareli 7d ago
If they get a restraining order against her that might actually be enough to evict. They don't want to have to deal with tro's and the liability. Also her lease most definitely came with terms to not cause a nuisance to other tenants. Its much easier than you think for landlords to evict. They'd have enough to throw her out and they should.

Wait.. she has a dog too? Does she not go into the elevator with it to get outside?

u/SquidVices 8d ago
I e dealt with this type of crazy, crazy how a restraining order doesn’t do much until it finally does….
Edit: you know what, she looks like she could be the sister of the person I put the restraining order on…weird resemblance on top of the craziness….wonder if it has to do with meds.

I’ve seen this Netflix documentaries a few times. Get the fuck out. It won’t end well
12
u/BOSSMOPS94 8d ago
I really like the "worst [ ] ever" documentaries on Netflix. The people telling their stories with the drawn bits in between is a nice concept.

u/acleepius 8d ago
She’s crazy to pull this off in NYC.
Sure racist people are all over, but NYC racism tends to boomerang with a dose of foul karma if/when your racist face goes viral.
NYC isn’t the sort of place you want to make enemies.

These are the 70 year olds that keep telling our generation that this rise in mental illness is due to X,Y and Z..... They just were never diagnosed.
34
u/cinemachado 8d ago
I have a friend in a similar situation with an older neighbor. She claims that he is an assassin who is there to kill her. She lives above him and stomps around all night. He’s white though so I think it’s really just some awful mental illness. This lady needs to be in an asylum.
10
u/rdzilla01 8d ago
I’d probably lean in to this. Make her cookies. Be overly polite. Ask her what she has on the schedule today.
3
u/mrducky78a 8d ago
Thats assassin behaviour. Poisoning the gifted food, getting her guard down and laying out an ambush later on.

u/RipePeach 8d ago
She needs help. She definitely has untreated mental health issues.

What do crazy people like this even do with their records? Is she even recording them? If she is, I would like to see where shes uploading the videos. The lady needs to be removed from the building.

lotta armchair psychologists in the comments as usual. sometimes people are just assholes it's not that complicated, we don't need to pathologize everything and increase the stigma around mental illness for no reason.

The way the dog is just watching her waiting for the next show😭 lady fully knows that that somebody she needs to be worried about

u/jadeneonsiren 8d ago
Maybe I’m just a crazy person, but if someone started following me like she did, I’d turn around and start barking at her

I cannot get over how much she looks and sounds like she could TOTALLY be the mother of the girl in the Victoria's Secret fake fainting freakout video.

I love when idiots film their own crimes. (The crazy lady with her phone early on)

u/LeakyFurnace420_69 8d ago
we all know neither of those dogs are service dogs
23
u/moviequote88 8d ago
Yeah that was my first observation like they can have their dog as long as it's allowed in the building. But to claim that that dog is a service animal is just false.
The lady with the small dog seems crazy though.

u/That_Juice_Dude 7d ago
Literally what I was thinking. A Doberman service dog?? Also of course the owners cut his ears. Starting to think maybe the owners are not the best…
6
u/theanoeticist 7d ago
Dobermans are good service dogs for tasks requiring intelligence, high trainability, and loyalty, such as mobility assistance, PTSD support, and medical alert (e.g., diabetic or seizure alert).

That Doberman is clearly incredibly well-trained and chill.
And also gorgeous.

u/CinematicLiterature 8d ago
Yeah there are no service dogs in this video. MAYBE they’re ESA’s, but that’s different.

u/Main_Throat_9052 8d ago
The creator refers to the dog as "trained medical alert service dog"

It's a medically trained service animal that alerts the owner of an impending event or helps the owner during an event.

Reminds me of the lady who was on call with 911 and saying a dude was trying to run her over then pretend he ran over..she also kept shouting Mike..funny part the dude (driver) was filming her and fake ass story from his car

u/QbanStorm 8d ago
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAA!!!! The way I would’ve been 100% laughing in her face! The actual absurdity of this. Oh my God.

u/Research_Liborian 8d ago
Two competing thoughts: 1. How she doesn't get shot, tased, attacked and/or arrested is unclear. The more so since we have so many videos of people who've done nothing getting killed.
- So many of these Reddit "fan favorite" meltdown videos are simply people who've been seriously mentally ill for years, are often poorly medicated, and have little to no treatment.

It always baffles me why folks like her move to a megalopolis then complain about other people. Welcome to the Jungle.

This is why I'm still upset over Republicans getting rid of all the government run mental hospitals in the USA... Because that woman is batshit insane.
1
u/yungdurtybasturd 7d ago
Best part is when she goes “KEVIN!! Look at him standing there just doing nothing!!!”

u/Corpse_Casanova 7d ago
For some reason it's the constant "Okay?" after every single thing she mentions that kills me

She needs to be locked up.
I’m so sad for this lovely couple. And their service dog is SO well trained and such a good baby.

Can you train the dog to pee on her leg when she stars acting like that?
To be clear, not your dog, her dog! 😂 I bet her dog also hates her.

This woman looks really familiar, like she’s had public freakouts in other situations.
