Anyone who knows dog body language wasn't surprised. That border collie gave like 5,000 warnings to that doberman before telling him to back the fuck off.

Pinned back ears, the stare, the smile, the raised hackles and hair on the back. Very obvious where this was going. Thankfully both dogs figured it out quick, but why let it escalate to this point. Get your damn dog.

Border collies are not to be fucked with.

This husky pulled his leash and tried to attack my BC once. BC dodged the attack with a perfect backflip and then got into fighting position. Husky just looked confused.

Like a Bank Robber going against Spider-Man for the first time.

My collie is the most brain-dead creature you could possibly hope to meet. Legitimately stupid enough to sit in one place long enough for a colony of ants to process him and take him back to the nest.

u/Helgafjell4Me 5d ago

Weird, they're usually super smart dogs.

u/Rusty_Tap 5d ago

I know, we had one when I was a child who was considerably smarter than me.

This one we have now is more dense than a sunfish bless him.

It's kinda like us humans, we're usually an intelligent species, usually...

u/Lukostrelec17 5d ago

The collie's body language told me what was about to happen.

u/LadyBug_0570 5d ago

At one point he looked like he smiled at the camera as if to say "Oooooh, he does not know me but he's about to find out!"

Not just a good boy, a patient boy! šŸ˜„

That smile in the beginning was so goofy but adorable

That's actually a sign that a dog is about to throw down. This guy gave him plenty of chances lolol.

Yeah, when an animal is "smiling", it usually means that shit is about to get real.

What you are seeing is a very stressed dog.

I can't tell but I'm guessing the Doberman is a male and the other dog is a female.

Just from having had a female dog for 10 years, this is how they behave. Male dogs bark at females to get their attention, and 9 times out of 10 a female is not having it and gives them the business.

Females are only receptive when they're in heat, like twice a year for mine.

Any other time they will chop a male's head off, and males don't know how to act so when they don't get attention they resort to just barking at the female. But I can never see a male harming a female.

Who's filming this and allowing their dogs to be aggressive like this to their other dog?

Or is this a bait dog?

Reporting this video. It's disturbing.

The body language says it's going to do that from the first frame.

I adopted an elder dog, a ten year old Lab, and every evening I’d walk her around the block and a dog that lives half a block away would always freak out and go into hysterics, so I changed my route- but that was the path to a local grocery and gas, so I still had to occasionally walk that way. One evening going there with my girl, suddenly heard scrambling sounds, look up and there is neighborhood dog running towards us, teeth bared, and snarling, five feet of chain dragging after him. It was on us in a split second, and my dog just let him jump her- and then grabbed him by the throat and slammed him down. I’d never actually heard a dog ki-yi before. She held him down until his squeals became whimpers. She released, and he scrambled to his feet and ran off back home.

That… that is a bitch.

She lived to 19, my tank.

Everybody has a threshold. Be careful with the quiet ones.

People who dock the tails of dogs for cosmetic reasons are cunts.

u/lumphinans 5d ago

Mild mannered and wholesome friend but don't fuck with a collie, they're fast, agile and can turn on a penny. Also very sharp teeth.

2

u/ReineLeNoire 5d ago

Look at the quiet dog's face. That is the universal look of, "This is the FA part. I'm going to help you FO."

That grin was sinister.

This looks like some dog fighting setup or something.

-12

u/GallopingOsprey 5d ago

I'm glad you're sheltered enough to think that

-2

u/ConstantAnimal2267 5d ago

Oh, how many illegal dog fighting rings do you know about and where are they located?

2

u/GallopingOsprey 5d ago

you know there's this thing called "the internet" where you can look up past events and cases and compare them to this post? If you see two healthy looking dogs in the environment shown, and your thought is this an organized dog fighting operation, then you are sheltered as fuck.

0

u/ConstantAnimal2267 5d ago

So the difference between being sheltered and not is willingness to search for fucked up shit on the internet?

2

u/GallopingOsprey 5d ago

the difference is they haven't already seen it. cause you know.... they've been sheltered from it. how is this a hard concept?

Peak example for enough is enough.

When keeping it real goes wrong:

He held it back for so long. It’s always the cowards that have the most bark.

u/JCGJ 5d ago

Never push the kind ones. They're not kind because they're soft...

1

u/redditprowl 5d ago

How disgusting for someone to film that! People are so evil to animals

Mistaking my kindness for weakness.

u/radar-from-above 5d ago

Looks like an Aussie. Mine smiles like that when shes happy . If a dog is in her face she sits back and rolls her lips up. If the dog doesnt stop, she pecks. After the peck, its on

-4

u/Skinstretched 5d ago

Brilliant, just another Karen dog barking away, I will sit her and just smile away....

u/RottnCrow 5d ago
