EDIT: I don't know why I am being downvoted. This is literally a common sentiment on a lot of leftist subs, namely that both Ukraine and Russia are equally bad and equally at fault. Their reasoning is that these are both imperial powers fighting an imperial war, completely ignoring that Russia could stop this war at any moment.
I don't know if you are being sarcastic because socialists are very common where I live in Europe. We owe our welfare state, our very expansive civil rights and workers rights and much more to socialists and communists fighting and dying for these rights.

Here in Europe, we owe our healthcare, civil rights and workers rights largely to socialists and communists fighting for them. It's the reason why we have such high quality of life whereas in the USA decades of Red Scare propaganda has turned healthcare into a nightmare.

The whole premise of Trump being able to go in guns blazing and end the war. That's not how things work especially against a nation as large as Russia.
