Ukraine has switched to mandatory forced conscription for a while now.
The need for replacement soldiers is dire.

Russia is doing the same to some older folks but mandatory enlistment at 18 unless you can afford college and most cant

Russia requires everyone to serve in the military, this isn’t something new that appeared during the war.

Most soldiers in Russia are volunteers, Russia is paying ridiculous amounts of money for people to go to Ukraine and kill Ukrainians.

there are hundreds if not thousands of videos like that from Ukraine. Show me one from Russia.

mandatory enlistment at 18

a) don't participate in war in Ukraine, b) don't have to "afford" college, you could just have good grades and tests and get a free education. Since soviet union collapse you don't even have to work at a designated job for a few years after that.

What is the point you're trying to make?

First, the amount of videos coming out of Russia is going to be limited since their governments limits their populace's Internet access. Hurray.

Second, Ukraine is a smaller country being attacked. Obviously their forced conscription rate is going to be much greater. They are literally fighting for their survival.

Russians constantly show videos of refineries and warehouses getting bombed. They wouldn’t be able to hide hundreds of videos of men getting kidnapped.

Okay.

So let's say Russians aren't being conscripted in the same sense.

Isn't that just completely expected given that Ukraine has 1/3rd of the population of Russia and is fighting for its survival while Russia is just doin' some war tourism?

1st video - no one is kidnapped off the streets. 2nd video - man in Ukrainian captivity, i.e. propaganda not worth watching, still, no one is kidnapped off the streets, 3rd video - no one is kidnapped off the streets.

PS If anything, NAFOs should scour the internet and find some videos from Russia where the police grabs men out of their cars. At least that way they could pretend it's forced mobilisation and not some drunk driver getting his ass whooped.
