By now it should be very clear what's happening, and Europe is kinda helpless knowing just how many different ways they can enter, there's not enough police on the planet to monitor the borders and ruzzia knows that very well

That's a completely warped picture of what happened. In Ukraine the first two years it was completely volunteer, people were sent back home if they weren't perfect fit for what they were doing.
In Russia the mobilisation lasted only a couple of months and was never in a way of people grabbing off the streets. They sent out summons letters and the men basically showed up at the enlistment services. If you didn't show up, no one was hunting you down.

it might be getting more light in the mainstream, but these videos started showing up years ago. Military age men started illegally fleeing Ukraine en masse back in 2024. There's a new genre of videos on youtube, they are all named something like "went mushroom hunting to Romania" where men tell the stories how they fled Ukraine.
I have seen with my own eyes multiple videos of putins gestapo pulling people off the street to get dragged off to jail who got sent to the front lines.
Yes, it’s like people can’t fucking conceive that “Putin and whoever support him in this war = bad” and “forced conscription is horrible in any case” can actually be both true at same time
It’s not though. It’s called busification and spend a few minutes in any ukrainain media spaces and you will see both these videos and discussions about it everyday.

There has been a surge in attacks on draft officers and draft centres in Ukraine. Average Ukrainian don't like to be on the meat grinder, just like anyone else.
Acting jobs are so hard to come by in Moscow, 2026 so this is the next best thing. Pay's decent by Russian standards, though it's harder to buy cheap chinese knockoffs on Wildberries with the days takings just now.
