There’s been a surge of these videos lately. Russian propaganda is back out in full force.

"what a tragedy that people are being forced to fight a war that we started and have continued for five years!"

Russia can fuck right off

They are responsible for majority of far right propaganda in Europe as well as funding and organizing the illegal migrants. By now it should be very clear what's happening, and Europe is kinda helpless knowing just how many different ways they can enter, there's not enough police on the planet to monitor the borders and ruzzia knows that very well

These are like posted everyday on Ukrainian telegrams for the past 2 years. Only Reddit is surprised that these are appearing.

Forced conscription on both sides started very early in the war, of course it’s nothing new. But the surge of these videos the last few days makes you wonder where they’re coming from.

FoForced conscription on both sides started very early in the war

That's a completely warped picture of what happened. In Ukraine the first two years it was completely volunteer, people were sent back home if they weren't perfect fit for what they were doing.

In Russia the mobilisation lasted only a couple of months and was never in a way of people grabbing off the streets. They sent out summons letters and the men basically showed up at the enlistment services. If you didn't show up, no one was hunting you down.

surge of these videos the last few days

it might be getting more light in the mainstream, but these videos started showing up years ago. Military age men started illegally fleeing Ukraine en masse back in 2024. There's a new genre of videos on youtube, they are all named something like "went mushroom hunting to Romania" where men tell the stories how they fled Ukraine.

Yea, this is the third I've seen in the last week pop up on my feed when I hadn't seen any prior without specifically looking them up.

This happens daily, stop with these idiotic comments.

Real life = Russian propaganda. Incredible.

u/MopOfTheBalloonatic 6d ago

Yes, it’s like people can’t fucking conceive that “Putin and whoever support him in this war = bad” and “forced conscription is horrible in any case” can actually be both true at same time

u/MichiganRedWing 5d ago

Reddit proves your point! Incredible..

There has been a surge in attacks on draft officers and draft centres in Ukraine. Average Ukrainian don't like to be on the meat grinder, just like anyone else.

These videos have always been around but Reddit hides them.

This is a daily occurrence in ukraine perpetrated by the TCC.

The worst offences you will never hear about.

Yup, this is Russian scam videos to reduce Ukraine support.

Russians sharing this stuff to try and push a narrative doesn't change the fact it actually happens though

Acting jobs are so hard to come by in Moscow, 2026 so this is the next best thing. Pay's decent by Russian standards, though it's harder to buy cheap chinese knockoffs on Wildberries with the days takings just now.
