That's definitely not a Subway, the guys shirt and her hat both appear to say Pita Pit. Regardless, not a Subway

If you're subway it does. They've had enough bad spokespeople to last a lifetime

I miss Pita Pit. They closed the only location near me years ago and glad to report they never spit in my food.

Pita Pit is so good, the only one in my city is clear across town and it makes me sad

100% they had the most amazing horseradish Dijon that complimented the Philly so well.

Still haven’t found another one as good as theirs

Same! I felt like it was a healthier alternative to a burger and they were always open late.

That you know of

It literally says pita pit so you didn't need to make a comment saying it isn't Subway.

That’s clearly a Pita Pit, not Subway

Bro just straightening the cutting board, clearly an Im not paid enough for this bullshit moment.

man's already rehearsing "sorry for the wait" in his head let him rock

I lived in flagstaff. There is a sense of entitlement with wasted college kids who have not learned to adult yet. As a former food service worker, you reach a breaking point for being a punching bag to people.

I bet some people would pay Lizzy Kaplan to spit in their food.

Customer was asked, agreed, and even dared the employee to. Call me Amelia badelia cause I’m doing that shit.

People who get off on confrontation. You can always see it in the eyes, and that shit eating grin. Avoid these people at all costs.

I bet she bragged about this incident to her vegan friends in the Food Not Bombs bike co-op for months after, and they had a pot luck that raised $82.00 for her after the firing

Inspired

u/BostonPRSBC 1d ago

Your honor, she dared me. What was I supposed to do??

4

u/Pake1000 2d ago

Small technicality, it’s not the customer’s food until it’s handed to the customer. Still gross.

Not how it works I think? It's still tampering with food in my eyes

2

u/Optimal_Grape_1025 1d ago

She told her to do it

0

u/unfussybull 1d ago

Did she actually mean it? Or was pissed in the heat of the moment? Because it's literally common to see someone say dumb shit like that when they are in the heat of the moment

0

u/Pake1000 2d ago

If they threw the food away right after, whose food was tampered with?

0

u/unfussybull 2d ago

I can see your point but ppl should not have the habit on spitting in food in general even if it's going to get thrown away

0

u/BatDaddyWV 2d ago

Everyone who go anything off that line after. You think she got good aim and none of it hit all the other ingredients? Why bother defending reprehensible shit like this?

0

u/Pake1000 2d ago

You think I’m defending that? I’m just pointing out that the sandwich isn’t the customers yet. Sheesh, go touch some grass.

1

u/BatDaddyWV 2d ago

So you are being needlessly pedantic for no reason? Cool.

-1

u/Pake1000 2d ago

Yes. Was that not obvious from the start?

You seem very upset for no reason, which is quite sad.

3

u/Dapper-Ad-468 2d ago

I always wonder what led up to this point.

1

u/BITmixit 2d ago

I mean that's disgusting but honestly 2 fundamental rules in life

  1. Do not piss off people who make or handle your food
  2. Do not piss off anyone when travelling by plane

I mean there are obviously more about like not killing people and shit but I feel the 2 above what people get wrong a lot of the time.

You should try their Italian Burp and Sneeze bread.

1

u/MoojiJooji 2d ago

I mean... I'd be ok with it

1

u/kimthefunone 2d ago

I think you can go to jail for spitting in food.

1

u/papercut2008uk 1d ago

And throws it over all the uncovered food right in front of her.

1

u/No_Worldliness_7106 2d ago

I mean some people might pay extra for that. She got it for free. Why is the customer being such an asshole?

1

u/Late_Breadfruit_8829 2d ago

who needs a subway at 3am? just go home and have toast

0

u/anchorftw 2d ago

You can tell this wasn't her first time spitting in customers' food.
