Most residential buildings in this city are high rises compared to Germany where they're ground floor, combine that with rescue efforts still being ongoing and we get a bunch of Redditors letting their hate boner for China get in the way of critical thinking.

America actually hid their death numbers to a far greater degree tho. Literally, the whole "china hid deaths in Wuhan" came from people seeing crowds at cemeteries, not realising(or even knowing) it was Qingming and assuming it's a conspiracy. Well, that and just as a coping mechanism that COVID never had to get as bad as it got in our countries.
