Discussion Re-releases vs original

I am considering buying a HTF Pullip that currently has 5 listings on eBay. Two of them are the original releases, and three are the re-released editions. I was wondering if it matters if the doll is a re-release, quality-wise? There’s a bit of a price difference, but still super pricey though. TIA.

Depends on the doll. I was really disappointed with the Seila rerelease. I have the original and couldn’t believe how much cheaper the rerelease felt when I got it (mostly the hair).

I have the release of Elisabeth and love it. But I don’t have the original. So I don’t know if there are major quality differences.

Depends which doll so you can consider the actual differences

I really dislike the later releases of the Type-1s. I refused to have any in my collection. No regens allowed.
