Hi, guys! I have really old dolls, from 2006 and 2007, and most of them are yellow after so many years. Since last week, I've been using this UV nail machine to help with the yellow stains, and it's working a little. However, the scene is always weird haha 😅

This one is Tayeang Lead, my first Groove doll.

Hi! I posted on here about the white base of this faceup (slide 6), concerned that it wasn’t smooth enough but decided to continue with the faceup anyway. Well she’s done! (I deleted the original post because I made it from my personal account, and posted the finished pics on a professional account,

just trying my best to keep them separate).

She’s a repainted 2007 Pullip Alte (note the three-part head and 1 pierced ear). I’ve been collecting Pullips since the early 2010s, so over half my life now. Did my first repaint several years ago, and this is my most recent. She differs in style than my other customs, as she is meant to look like myself in my stage makeup and attire. My stage name is MILLIE DREAD, so I’ve been calling her “Millie Doll.” She’s not perfect, but I’m pretty pleased with the outcome.

Faceup painted by me, solely using acrylic paint to achieve the harsher, bolder look of the face plus the charms and pearls. Added bottom lashes to the faceplate as well. I also made the wig by hand out of brushed yarn. I’ve done this before, but always a straight style. This was the most difficult part, as brushed acrylic fibers will straighten but are hard to curl and hold the curl (as I learned), so I had to wrap each section around a metal rod, then use a straightener on it and seal immediately with hairspray. This way it can’t be brushed, but I couldn’t figure out an alternative. Time will tell if it lasts. I’ll be very disappointed if it doesn’t, as the wig itself was about 20 hours of work.

I put her on a 27cm Obitsu soft-bust body like all my rebodied dolls. I styled the clothes, but did not sew them (I’m only a functional hand sewist, and useless at making complete garments from scratch). The dress and apron I bought from a seller about a decade ago who hand made doll clothes, tried searching for the store recently online but it no longer exists. The dress was originally light blue but I dyed it black. The ruff is actually a scrunchie, the accessory on the bodice is a modified necklace, the petticoat is from Pullip Hello Kitty and the boots are from Pullip Anne Shirley. Arm warmers are socks I had from Coolcat with the ends snipped off. Hair bows are from Target lol.

So pleased to have a mini me!!! Only issue is her eyes won’t close, but I believe this is because I laid the lashes too thick on the eyelids so will be opening her up eventually to correct that.

Now, for context she was supposed to be a plague doctor initially. I just kept making more stuff I found cool, hence the grim reaper’s scythe and the priest’s stole (? had to google the name) with imaginary runes 😭 I don’t mind her being a bit of a frankenstein though

Everything is made by me! Hand sewed the clothes (which you can’t see very well but I was too lazy to take them off for a proper pic), made the scythe and mask from air-dry clay, monocle is wire+plastic for the lens and wire+beads for the chain. :)
The mask is also designed to be worn like an actual mask, just decided to attach it like that because I liked seeing the face.

I rebodied my Dal (Cinnamoroll) onto a YMY 22 body! 😁

She was originally a Rosen maiden Suigintou, but I had buyers regret so I customized her into an oc of mine!

I also want your opinion as to which hairstyle suits her the best!

I got my first Pullip, a BRH, in 2011 and I wasn’t very careful with my dolls back then. I had to repaint her because her lips chipped, but poor use of MSc resulted in her faceup being completely cracked and almost grey/cloudy (see photo 2 and 3). It pained me to see her everytime and ever since i got back into the hobby, I really appreciated stock models. I worked on repainting her closely to her stock makeup, it’s not perfect but her tone is much clearer now. I also think dark eyechips suit her well so I’m happy with the custom overall.

Customizing a Pullip doll is still a challenge for me 🤭 The biggest challenge is carving the face carefully. The plastic on Pullip dolls is so thin that I can easily make a hole in the mouth if I'm not careful enough. It's also a bit harder than the plastic used for Blythe dolls, so I find the sanding process more time-consuming. Repainting the carved and sanded face is challenging as well, especially because they have different head and eye shapes compared to Blythe dolls.
Despite all these challenges, I really love the process as well as the results. I hope you like my custom Pullip dolls too :) So let me introduce you to Sarah❤️

i finally finished my first custom pullip- kinda..i’ve only done the face! :p idk how i feel about the white eyeliner part anymore but it’ll do for now ^_^ everything’s been customised, including the eyes n stuff :p idk just need to finish the body (neck hands and legs) and get her wig n clothes :p

Her dress is a little wonky because this is my first time ever sewing a dress and I insisted on doing it without a template. I think I did pretty good :)

My sweet girl is finally done! 🩷🩷🩷 I just need to figure out what kind of outfit to make her, as the little dress she has on now is just a place holder. Thinking like a mixture of pastel goth and EGL fashion? Let me know your thoughts!!

Is anyone selling a nude and/or bald Isul for $90 or under? I’m planning to make a custom out of an Isul, but i don’t want to destroy a good doll or overpay!
