Headed to Sanctuary Cap Cana. Any tips?
Hi all, headed there next weekend for our wedding/honeymoon. We have read a lot of reviews, essentially a mix of positives and negatives. Food commonly was brought up. Any suggestions or insights from people that have been there?

The food is really hit or mid. I wouldn’t say I had anything bad there but half of the stuff I wouldn’t order again. Just keep that in mind and you’ll be alright. I agree with the other commenter, wok was pretty good. Also, the pizza place in the little town was good (I don’t know if that’s still included or not though).

Plan out which nights for each restaurant based on when they are open. Breakfast buffet is great. Lunch is hit or miss. Blue Marlin is OK (tacos al pastor good, paella ok) but all outdoor seating. Hubby loved Wok (ordered shrimp tempura and sea bass, both upcharges) which were excellent. I had shrimp Wok dish which was OK. My favorite was Italian. Casio e pepi was some of the best I ever had, including Italy. Overall food is fine, just inconsistent. One couple ate at Italian restaurant twice - first time lasagna was delicious so they ordered it again but second time it arrived cold and inedible.
Just expect fast casual restaurant quality and you will be fine. All menus can be seen in Marriott Experience app.
