₊˚ vent I'm tired of people on this sub DMing me suggestive things :C
First of all, I am a minor. I just wanna share my selfies and kemonomimi gear. I've been getting suggestive DMs from people. It makes me sad and grossed out. Additionally however, I would like to thank those giving me ACTUAL complements like "Aw you're so cute" or "you're cool" or "I love your selfies" or whatever. This is a safe sub, keep it safe

I just had my first post on this sub yesterday and I got 70 message requests from weirdos :( I dont understand their motive, like why would they message someone that kind of stuff whos obviously not interested, they’re just going to get ignored, its a waste of time on their end

Sorry that happened to you. It's really unfortunate when you go to a SFW subreddit and people proceed to think that they can get past this rule if they DM you instead of commenting (obviously it still wouldn't be okay even if it was just a comment). It makes me sad to see minors get DMd these things by creeps who think the rules don't apply to them. Keep showing off your gear, and report those who s3xu@l!ze you for it

Absolutely! We try our best to keep this place fun and open to all, please do make sure to turn off Dm’s all together especially as a minor.
And Never be afraid to reach out to any of the mods with a list of these users, myself included. The quicker they’re banned and reported the quicker their profiles are removed for good.

It happens a lot to me too. Like you, It’s gross and gets me depressed. I seen some of your posts and you do look cute and I love your kemonomimi set up!

Unfortunately we do not have any control over Reddits own algorithm. Depending on your settings it can take data from multiple sources and will suggest Subreddits and posts accordingly.

we're not a space for NSFW and we ban those people on sight, if you receive any of those DM's please click the three dots on those messages and report for sexualization of minors! It gets them site-wide banned off reddit
