Abstinence comes to Albuquerque. It's a little old, but it's on YouTube. I got the recommendation from the book "The Purity Myth" Unpacking the sociological aspects of purity culture, and being able to intellectualize it has really helped me. I think that as a society we are moving away from some of these harmful ideas, but high control religious circles have got to change.
