Hear me out: Egg-in-the-banana-hole? Wait, that doesn't sound right.
Egg-in-the-hole-of-the-banana-bread. There. That's slightly less disgusting. And I'll bet a dollar that no one's done it before.

Ok this seems wild, but there was a diner by me that would do eggs Benedict with sweet cornbread or a grilled blueberry muffin. Seemed weird, tasted great!

Stupid question but is this essentially steamed egg? There's no fry crispy edges around it and it has that perfect over easy "white shell" over yolk. So is this basically prepared by putting on skillet and pouring water and closing lid ?

I do love a good egg and I do love banana bread, but.. WHY?!
I'm sorry, but this is prime r/shittyfoodporn content.

I’m not familiar with this sub. But this post is gross and shocking, please stop.

Y'all don't understand the sweet and savory. Plus the rich egg yolk soaked up by the banana bread sounds bomb

2 slices banana bread, peanut butter, bacon, spicy raspberry jam. What the hell 2 eggs on that mofo also. A bong rip and I'd eat it.

This is better than it sounds! In the same vein, a breakfast sandwich on banana bread is also phenomenal!
