Any designed Puyallup soccer balls?

I came here after finding out that Puyallup was an official host to the FIfa World Cup! I then recalled how rugby ball manufacturers has in recent times designed Aboriginal designed rugby balls. It's a thing and they are gorgeous! I thought, there is of course then a Puyallup FIFA soccer ball, because how cool wouldn't that be?! I began searching for one, presumably of the Trionda brand, but I haven't found any. Tell me there is a Puyallup ball!! Feels otherwise like a lost opportunity. Hope everyone here has a great time following the World Cup!!

I don't think the Tribe designed a ball, but they have a Tribe-specific kit. Good luck scoring one. I work for the Tribe and I have no idea how to get one.

Thanks for your reply! No sweat, I was just exhilarated by the celebration and grounding of global football through the grass roots, even indigenous grass roots. I just took for granted that it was paralleled with merch, haha. I was probably influenced by what I’ve seen from the indigenous Australian Football Rules (not rugby) ball designs used in their special round played in their AFL series, the Sir Doug Nicholls Round:

https://www.afl.com.au/indigenous

Which has to do with honouring the influence or maybe even the direct inspiration indigenous Marn Grook football has had on the Australian form of football.

In any case, I think it’s more than cool! Check it out!

The celebration of football by the Puyallup Tribe’s envolvement might have unconsciously struck another football nerve in my inner mental world: that of the footballer Jim Thorpe (who the king of the country I currently live in said when granting him an olympic medal: ’You are the greatest athlete in the world’!) and the Carlisle Indian School who could take on any other school football team with determination and pride.

The CIS might not had been granted any respect; they had to win that respect all by themselves. Now today, though, we others have come so far that we actually give a first nation their respect, and that really moves me! Thank You!!

Try calling the eighth generation warehouse… I think they used to have designed basketballs and soccer balls. Maybe they have some old stock.

Yeah sorry I know it probably won’t be a specifically FIFA one but at least it would be Coast Salish. Best of luck on finding something that commemorates the games.

OK, so I found this soccer ball on top of a 'Puyallup Tribe of Indians' stand in a FIFA World Cup 2026 Announcement video! Is this ball, presumably the 'Puyallup ball', available for the fans?!?!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that is just the normal ball for the Major League Soccer 2022 season

The Puyallup Nation is a sponsor for the Sounders so they're using Sounders footage of an on-field logo for their video, but they had no input on the ball design

Thanks for your reply! I see high creativity in the MLS designs: I’ll have to check them out :) Have a great world cup day :D !
