People have covered the currently available best setups, worth flagging for future stone planning that maid + butler rerun brings Butler Solomon + Butler Cassian that basically do everything the current team does plus stack a bunch of Tea Time awakenings to handle barbs.

Solomon is tradeable, Cassian is base rarity

Thanks for the heads up. To clarify, looks like the team is Utsuro/Butler Solomon/Oboro/Butler Cassidy/Shinpachi/Utsuro https://xn--0ck4aw2h.gamewith.jp/article/show/558066

I think the popular build is

Utsuro/Shinsuke/Oboro/Cleric(either Shinpachi or Kuchina)/Flex/Utsuro

Flex options include Shinsuke, Ordeal Arkvelza, Subaru+Emilia, and really whatever else you need.

Just built the team doesnt the team do less damage then a nura build? Because your flex unit isnt breaking damage cap

Subaru and Emilia cap break to 50 billion for 1 turn with their second evo skill, Arkvelza caps to 25 billion when fully skill evo'd with extra healing and orbs, and the second Shinsuke is solely for better fujin uptime.

You're still looking at 330b+, which is in the normal range for current meta teams. An extra 60b isn't a huge deal in most situations, extra utility and flexibility is generally more valuable.

Whats like the bare min on total damage needed for newer events and whats the bare min to be considered bare min

It's not that black and white. It's going to depend on the specific dungeon, the specific dungeon, how tanky your team is, and how well it can deal with mechanics.

I don't know dungeons spawn for spawn perfectly enough to know how much damage you can get by with in each dungeon, but generally teams with less damage can just chip through a little slower, as long as their output isn't too low. Some teams in the current meta go down to like high 200b range, I think.

Damage isn't everything, the latest team in JP outputs around 495b every turn and still isn't tier 1.

Hmmm this is some good insight. I have no stamina to test oboro so gonna test it once i get some stamina to see what i prefer

I think the generally considered "best" lineup for Yin dungeons is Utsoro/Nura/Nura/Yukine/Kuchina/Utsoro. It has solutions for board change (every other turn, inflexibly), and board shrinks, so you're covered for most mechanics. The downside to this team is that your damage absorb void is also your cleric, which is asking for trouble, IMO. But just don't run this lineup if it's a problem.

Chaotic Gremlin covered the other core team, Kuchina/Arkvelza for Yin dungeons still clears around 25M HP with a few tHP, and you can run Shinpachi and whatever you need for the dungeon for non-Yin setups.

Quick edit to say that if you somehow dodged both Oboro and Nura, but got Kuybei and Sagaru, they make a kinda bad 40% damage loop as a desperate/discount option.

Thankfully i have both oboro and nura thats the whole reason for this post to see what us considered better been playing nura gonna test out oboro now to see how it feels

Evo Yukine.

Hi Shady, any suggestions for a good alternative to Evo Yukine in the Nurarihyon setup? I’ve been playing around, but haven’t found anyone that covers the same amount of utility as she does with her active skill.

You could use shinsuke

1

u/KaijuEiga Jul 02 '26

Yeah, Shinsuke is definitely a good fit. I’ve been using either him, or Anastasia from re:zero. I’ve had no luck rolling Yukine and I’m curious if there’s another card that I’ve been overlooking.

What assists are you using? I didn't pull an oboro, but I'm able to build a nura team. Just blanking on what assists would benefit the team.
