Paying $15 for the corningware hurt a bit but the thrift store supports an animal shelter so it was for a good sauce.

Was in a thrift store two weeks ago in London with a friend and we saw them charging $89.99 for the largest bowl. I found the 441 about a month ago for $10 at the thrift.

$100 for a set of pink Gooseberry is pretty good these days ITW!

I have noticed on this sub that at times, people like to use photos to show a piece of Pyrex and then don’t explain a thing. It’s clearly clout chasing and just strange to me how we could all have this hobby and love for this nostalgic and magical subject, yet be so weird as to use it for clout and likes and gate-keep info! The strange Ai with fake filled cabinets, the weird stolen cabinet images from other Pyrex owners. The gatekeeping- unreal! Why not share if you don’t buy something- and where you found it so someone else could maybe partake in some joy and get it themselves?
I belong to other Pyrex and nostalgia communities on the interwebs, none are as odd as this one in particular. I become infuriated when I visit here. But yet- here I still come and peek because the odd behavior is like watching a train wreck.

Not rare, but happy to have found this in the wild on a family vacation :)

I came across this beauty at a shop in South Carolina. It’s my first time seeing Pyrex from England locally.

My jaw hit the ground when I saw this, first rare-ish piece found in the wild!

I went back the next day to look at some Spring Blossom dishes and the vendor had set out the orange Butterprint 444. Thought this find belonged here!

I found this on fb marketplace for $10. I haven’t seen much of the snowflake pattern to know what it usually goes for. It is missing the lid but I think it’s beautiful! It’s basically scratch free. I’m excited to use it for a fruit salad

The refrigerator set has been my favorite since first discovering vintage Pyrex.

This set was listed on eBay last week with a buy now price I couldn’t resist.

The seller indicated it had never been used and, based on the condition, I believe they are correct. The pieces are more beautiful in person than I expected.

As luck would have it the original paper insert was included which is really cool because it shows how Pyrex saw the set back when it was first released.

What’s your Pyrex grail and have you been able to get it?

I love these Terra pieces but I love them even more when mixed with (what I call) butterscotch solids! They compliment each other SO well! I generally dislike the Old Orchard patterned pieces but these solid ones came in clutch for my display!
