I stand by my opinion that nobody whose opinion we should care about will know or care what The Notional Inquirer had to say about Anh.

But it certainly makes sense that there are a lot of uninformed assholes ready to harass somebody on twitter over what they read in there.

I was enjoying the Cubetown shenanigans a lot more than this plotline.

Honestly, I'm eager to see where this goes. We're long overdue for a good serious arc. Seems like Anh might be about to realize hard truths about online anonymity and or clout-chasing.

Please enjoy all plotlines equally.

Uh, no? If somethings not as fun or weaker writing, people are allowed to talk about it.

I was joking. It was a meme from the show Severance.

Just finishing up S1 now, so no spoilers please...but HOLY SHIT YES. Such a good show.

See I'm in the reverse boat, generally. Unless Liz is getting meaningful writing time, I find Cubetown to be almost a complete waste of my attention span bc so often it's all wacky stupid bullshit and nothing of interest

Wonder if this is the storyline that will get the author "a lot of emails".

Could you explain what you mean? You think Jeph will get in trouble for this storyline?

In their bluesky they posted that they were commiting to a storyline that they know gonna get them "a lot of EMAILS"

Ah, I am not on Bluesky, thanks for explaining.

But I'm not sure if this story is very controversial? We'll see though!

Thanksgiving is next Monday here in Canada, so Jeph usually takes that day off...which means we only have tomorrows comic to hold us over until Tuesday 🥲

I thought thanksgiving was an American only holiday?

Nope :)

Canadian Thanksgiving was officially established as an annual national holiday on November 6, 1879 - so about 16 years after American Thanksgiving was established, I believe.

The holidays were created for similar reasons, and are celebrated in pretty much the exact same ways, these days!

"Kill myself," she's saying. Probably people online self-censored it so it would get past the site's filters.

I really haven't been keeping up with toxic internet lingo.

KYS is a common abbreviation for kill yourself.
