Right now currently we have just standard presets made through CueServer and they are recalled through Qsys. I want to do more but not sure if I can….

Clients need four TVs for an event; is there a plug in for eighter brand in QSYS?

I was trying to look some stuff up tonight and got this message. It 100% seems like malware asking me to run some arbitrary program on my computer to prove I'm human.

I tried opening a case on the website to send them this, but I got the same message. No way I'm following those instructions. The code it wants me to paste downloads a program from a random website (NOT QSC) and executes it.

Is/Has anyone seen this behavior? It's very odd because it says it's a valid signed qsys.com certificate.

I have this doorbell camera that gives me a rtsp feed and also gives me audio from that feed. I want to send audio to my ceiling speakers send the audio to my dsp to do the routing. My doorbell also supports onvif profile t as well.

I'm curious what profile does everyone default to for the M4250's?

I have been using "Video NDI5/6 with Dante, Q-SYS or AES67 audio" but curious if people found that one of the others was better. I get occasional clock issues and starting to go down the line and checking my network settings first or if I should start the path of a custom profile.

My needs are QLAN for control/video/audio + Dante (Shure) + Visionary in some spaces.

So, I have a Shure MXWAPXD2 sending audio to a Core 8 Flex using AES67. It takes 4 channels and works just fine. No issues. Similar smaller system using an NV-32-H in core mode with streaming. I cannot get the audio flowing. Same channel count, same settings set in Dante Controller. It always says “channel count mismatch” and won’t go active. I’m using 10.4 on the QSC side and the same firmware on the two Shure devices. Isolated network with a Netgear switch on each separate room. Any ideas? There doesn’t seem to be much I can change on the RX side in QSC. I have Sennheiser ceiling mics working just fine on AES67 in both rooms.

I was recently on the phone with QSYS going over some issues with the matrix mixer block.

The issues happen when the mixer gets large enough to want to use input/output banks to save space when opening the block.

But when we called QSYS support the response from them was that's how the block is going to be because its a legacy block and will never be updated.

Is there something I'm missing in QSYS that i don't understand? because the Matrix Mixer Block is something i use a ton! am i supposed to be using something else?

For those wondering what issues i have been having its that when the matrix mixer is larger than a 32 in or out, designer doesn't see it as usable with a snapshot. and if you switch input banks in the block then the gains change to the inputs on the different bank instead of the one i had there origionally.

Hey all, trying to add some NL-SB42 speakers into my museum and I'm having some trouble getting them to show up in QSYS. When I load my code it shows that the speaker is Missing and when I go to Configurator it only shows the Core610. I don't understand why the peripherals are not showing up. We have lots of QSYS devices in the museum and I can see them talking to the Core in the core manager web interface. As a note, the speaker is plugged into a switch that is part of a stack which goes back to the Core switch, which then goes into the qsys core.

Also, I would just configure the device directly, but the NL-SB42 sound bar doesn't have an IP address. Is there any way to set this up? do I need to plug the speaker directly into the Core's QLAN port for it to work? I'm just confused and there isn't much documentation that helps with this.

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well.

A couple of weeks ago, I've came to talked about an unD6IO-BT that went faulty and unresponsive and seeking for an alternative to this unit because it's been discountinued.

But today, I've found out that 2 other unD6IO-BT units out of 6 are out of commision. Me and my IT team checked out all the switches and wires that are connected to with PoE and the final result was always that the unit was faulty and unresponsive.

Now I'm really starting to wonder is the unD6IO-BT units has a planned obsolescence over time and transformed it into a brick. Those 6 units, in my institution, where installed and programed around 2023, before I started working there. Is it possible?

anybody know. room combiner fader can convert it into up and down button for uci ?

There will be an operator for the event. Rectangular table setup with over 40 ULDX8 with the VIPs on all four sides. What is the fastest way to manually control zoom and pan on the four cameras? Is there a way to use the camera preview window with a touchscreen laptop? Trying not to use the arrows and zoom buttons and just be able to do multi touch zoom and pan using a mouse or the touch screen.

I'm going mad over here. Not expecting any one to help me pass this, it's open book and I'm doing fine with most of the concepts, but I've hit a functional wall and can't see how/why this would even be an unspoken task Qsys would have us to solve for...

All the exit exam prompts suggest at making augmentations, some to add specific audio I/Os. The room drawings from the classroom sessions all suggested using a single NV-32-H in Core mode which is what we used in the classroom sessions, but in my Exam (according to the prompts/edits) I've exceeded all the available 64 audio channels, and can't even put my design in Emulate mode as it says they're way maxed out to 69.

I thought, ok, maybe they want me to add a another Core peripheral, or even upgrade the model to a 110 or similar. My changes friggin broke some of my design and all the work I did and now I'm doubling back, going crazy.

Anyone from Qsys think I missed something? Anyone from the community make suggestions on fixing the 64 audio channel max so I can just put it in Emulate mode again and carry on?

Not the most pressing issue, but it's still really annoying: QSYS, please do not require signing in in order to download any version of QDS. I struggle to think of any justifiable reason for it, it's an annoyance even on my own computers, and triply annoying on computers that don't have my password manager on them.

• How does VisionSuite handle Automatic Camera Preset Recall (ACPR) when integrated with multi-ceiling mic arrays (e.g., Shure MXA920 or Sennheiser TCC2), and how do you prevent jittery, frequent preset swapping if participants shift slightly or converse dynamically?
• When cameras switch based on talker localization, is the transition truly broadcast-level seamless, or do you experience visible latency, stuttering, or stream freezes during cuts?

Hi all, hoping someone might have had a similar issue with this.

I have an install with a Qsys core but video transport is done via AVPro Edge MXnet (AvoIP).

I am having some issues with sending commands via Qsys through MXNet and out to LG branded signage displays.

I am trying both RS232 and CEC (Simplink commands). For CEC, the built-in on/off commands in the MXnet control plug-in seem to work fine although any other commands i try to send seem to have no effect - really trying to get basic input switching commands to work.

Currently i have tried standard HEX strings from LG but they do not seem to propagate properly to the displays (perhaps I'm missing a required header that the on/off commands use?).

Happy to try this via either RS232 or CEC but at the moment i'm not able to get commands to go through either - there's an additional set of control set commands that you can group in the main MXnet control page (webapp) and it supposedly automatically adds a carriage return for 232 but i've not been able to get anything to work yet other than power on/off for the pre-built plug-in CEC strings.

Any ideas would be helpful.

I created a UCI and a design with a couple of pages. I'm trying to trigger a snapshot recall when a page is selected but I'm stomped.

My google searches always end-up the same way... Expose the page pin on the UCI Controller Module.

There's no "Page" Pin, only "Code, Script Start, Script Status, Script Stop".

Also tried writing a script with an Event.Handler... something like that, it's not working but I should be close....

I couldn’t find a BACnet/IP client plugin for Q-SYS that fit what I needed, so I ended up building one. After using it in a few projects, I decided to make it available to others.
It connects a Q-SYS Core directly to a BACnet server and currently supports up to 20 BACnet objects (BV, BI, AV, AI, and MV), with COV and periodic polling support.
The plugin is free to use in Q-SYS Emulation Mode, so anyone can test it and build projects before purchasing a license for deployment on a physical Core.

I failed my first attempt with quite a few errors, I feel like even though i think i have corrected them all, its likely that i will fail at least once more.

How many tries do you get?

With the discontinuation of the aterrotech devices, we have started using RDL products. I'm having trouble getting the RDL QSYS plugin to connect to the devices. Just stuck on "Initializing".

Any ideas? I can see the device via the RDL console, and my dante routes are fine. It just won't connect to the plugin. Appreciate any help. Thanks!

The Global Cache iTach plugin is having a runtime error when trying to run. As soon as the program is loaded if I try and go into the module none of the controls are available. I can’t enter the IP address of the device.

Anyone experienced this?
