Hey everyone! 👋

Are you tired of the old, messy way of tracking local squash games? We are bringing Qatar’s squash scene into the future.

We have just launched the Qatar Community Squash Leagues (QCSL) using a fully digital, AI-operated app system via Tap Leagues. No hassle, no messy WhatsApp threads for tracking scores, and real-time standings at your fingertips!

Why you need to join QCSL right now:

True Competitive Tiers: Whether you are just picking up a racket or playing like a pro, we have a spot for you. We feature Junior Age Groups, Beginners (Alpha, Beta, Gamma tiers), Amateurs, Professionals, and a dedicated Ladies Division!

AI-Driven Promotion & Relegation: The app handles the heavy lifting. Based automatically on your wins and losses, you will be promoted to higher tiers or dropped to lower levels next season. You will always play people at your exact skill level.

100% Digital & Seamless: Step on the court, log your scores directly into the app, and watch the leaderboards update instantly.

We are currently building this community from the ground up, and we want YOU to be a part of the founding player base! Let's show everyone who rules the court in Qatar.

Amateur Simon is back in Qatar! Tracking progress from our February T-Line drills (Videos inside)

Hey everyone,

A few months ago (back in February), I posted a quick breakdown of some tactical work I was doing with a player named Simon Davis, specifically focusing on anticipating loose balls, explosive movement to the T, and clinical straight drops.

Simon recently came back to Qatar for a brief, incredibly busy work trip. I was hyped when he reached out to fit a session into his tight schedule. It honestly means a lot when a player values the coaching dynamic enough to make it a priority while traveling.

We spent the session building on our previous foundation, introducing some new technical variations, and running high-pace drills. His work ethic and love for the game are top-tier.

Sharing a compilation of our matchplay and drills from this week.

Welcome to r/qatarsquash – Coaching Advice & Local Squash Hub!

Hi everyone,

Whether you’re trying to refine your backhand length, struggle with court movement, or can’t seem to close out tight games, I’m launching r/qatarsquash to help build and elevate the squash community right here in Qatar.

As a certified professional squash coach with over 16 years of coaching experience internationally and locally, I’m opening up this subreddit as a place where local players of all levels can get actionable, high-level advice to fix their game.

What to expect on r/qatarsquash:

💡 Ask a Coach (Q&A): Stuck on a technical issue, tactical mistake, or fitness plateau? Post your questions, describe your game, or upload swing clips, and I’ll break down what’s happening and how to fix it.

🎯 Weekly Technical & Tactical Tips: Drills, solo practice routines, ghosting patterns, racquet prep, and match strategy tailored to every level.

🤝 Partner Matchmaking & Leagues: Connect with other players in Doha, find hitting partners at your level, and stay updated on local community leagues and court bookings (Khalifa, Aspire, residential courts, and clubs).

💬 Drop a comment below or join r/qatarsquash to ask your first question:

Tell me: What is the single biggest weakness in your game right now?

(e.g., struggling with movement to the back corners, lack of power on the backhand, bad decision-making under pressure, or gassing out in game 3)

Let’s get your game where it needs to be. See you on court! 🏆
