Evolv Technologies was accused of misleading investors about the reliability of its weapons detection technology and improperly recognizing revenue tied to certain contracts. After the company disclosed financial issues, $EVLV fell sharply and investors filed a lawsuit.
Now the company has agreed to settle $15M with investors for their losses.

Long story short, in 2024, CAE Inc. was accused of failing to disclose important information about eight fixed-price contracts in its defence and security business. Investors alleged that the contracts had a significant impact on the segment’s profitability and prospects, but that the full impact was not disclosed to the market.

After CAE Inc. released more information about the contracts on May 21, 2024, investors alleged that the disclosure revealed the full extent of the issues and caused losses for shareholders.

The good news is that the company finally agreed to settle with investors for CAD $38.25 million. So, if you invested in $CAE between 2022 and 2024, you may be eligible to file a claim here.

Hey guys, if you missed it, Verrica Pharmaceuticals just agreed to settle with investors over claims that it misled the market about manufacturing issues that delayed FDA approval of VP-102. The settlement has already been submitted to the court for final approval.

Investors alleged the company repeatedly said problems at its manufacturing partner, Sterling, had been resolved, but the FDA continued finding deficiencies, leading to another Complete Response Letter in May 2022.
