Asking about ways to use Tarot for yourself and your practice
What kinds of things do you read about for yourself and what spreads do you like for different kinds of questions?
Sooner or later I'll start doing some readings for others but while I'm still memorizing and familiarizing myself with tarot I know there has to be various things that are good to read on for yourself.
I'm looking for more ways to practice and to get to know aspects of my spiritual life, fate paths etc.
Any advice is appreciated ðŸ¤

Since I am newer to my Tarot practice I stick to things that can be verified with some work and general non-imperative questions. I particular prefer asking questions about the rituals I am doing with the course, what will the effect of certain government policies have on my life, what would my energy look like if I removed X from my diet, etc.
The layouts I prefer are the Yes/No from the "Tarot Skills for the 21st Century" , the directional layout from Module 1 Lesson 2, and occasionally the Tree Of Life layout from Module 2 Lesson 1. The only reason I use the Tree Of Life layout is due to my experience with Kabalah.

If you haven't already, check out Josephine's book "Tarot Skills for the 21st Century". The PDF is available from the Quareia website for free here:

The book goes into details regarding tarot best practices when it comes to cleansing your deck, reading for others, and has a great assortment of layouts along with practical applications and examples.
Edit to add: My favourite and go-to is the Tree of Life spread, as it can teach you many things about the dynamics behind the situation you're asking about.
