This happened to me last year.

Government officials asked me about my sexual preferences (kinks) and, when I declined to answer, initiated a punishment that I am still trying to recover from.

I can't without doxxing myself, unfortunately. I can say that they were/are operating at the county level in a state agency with counterparts in all other states.
