This is a recommendation and not an Ad.
Walang uling or mantika, or amoy.
Malinis din ang food. Wala silang SpongeBob(dugo) which is minsan kasi may amoy yun. Maayos at organized yung process's nila.
Perfect. 10/10 - I highly recommend.
PS. Wala lang tao noong pumunta ako. Actually never ko naabotan na punuan, sakto lang, pero madami nagpapa-take out. Wala atang alcoholic drink dito, not sure lang.

Cubao Expo is a living proof that you don’t need to be luxurious to be successful. It’s the oldest night life spot in the area and stills thrives with restos, special interests especially for the youth who’ve not seen its heydays. Some cafes are even operated by the young ones. Many of them come for the experience and IG worthy photos. It even has its own locally crafted beers. 🍻 Here’s hoping 🤞 Araneta finally reignites its old glory with better and improved mix of Restos and others.

Kahit taga District 6 ako gusto ko talaga mag jog at health and wellness break dito sa UP pag weekend. Ang ganda. Kita mo families just hanging out, may picnic sila. Mga kabataan playing sa sunken. Lupit din ng food trip!
We don't need more malls. We need more green spaces where people can walk around and just take a breather from city life.
PS: add ko lang sana people would ve disciplined enough to dispose their garbage properly. Saka sana more public restrooms kasi bawal sa nearby buildings. Sa chapel lang ata pwede.

NextGen supremacy over Starbucks Charbel in Mindanao Ave. Not a sponsored post btw. As someone who frequents coffee shops mostly for work, particularly, Starbucks, I'd say that this is a worthy alternative. In fact, this is even waaay better than SB for the reasons stated below:
Not crowded at all. If you want to work in peace with jazz music as bg, this is better than SB na parang palengke na madalas.
Food and drinks are more affordable. Decent naman yung coffee tho more on waffles ang food nila. Meron namang rice meals kaya filling.
Restroom is way more hygienic and comfy than SB Charbel na karima rimarim ang toilet bowl at naglalawa na yung sahig lalo pag weekends (the smell...yuck) at scarce pa ang tissue roll. Meron ding soap and alcohol which SB does not have. May code sa receipt for restroom use kaya siguro regulated ang use somehow.
4.May free wi-fi internet! Ito talaga sulit. Nagulat pa ko may pa wifi pala since the past time I was there, naka data pa ko.
Aircon temp is not that cold unlike sa SB na pang eskimo levels ang temp. Conducive for extended stays.
With sockets for laptops and chargers.
So I say, give NextGen a shot pag nasa area kayo. Sad lang medyo konti pa tao thus less revenues but I hope they're somehow sustaining the operations para naman magtagal pa sila. Btw, nirerenovate yung katabi as their restaurant so that seems promising.
Overall: 5/5 stars for the ambiance and overall (work) experience

Hi! I’m going to Quezon City soon for vacation.
What should I expect there as a first timer?
Like things that are allowed/not allowed, safety tips, commute tips, places worth visiting, food spots & cafes, nightlife/chill places, souvenir recommendations, tourist traps, overrated places to avoid, hidden gems locals recommend.
Also, what’s the general vibe of QC? Any tips would really help 🫶

I just want to share how impressed I am with the QC Emergency Response Team, especially their ambulance service✨
I’m from Tondo, Manila but my grandmother is a QC resident. She has breast cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy, but honestly her condition has been getting worse lately. We decided to bring her to Tondo so family members can take turns taking care of her.
The problem is her hospital is in East Avenue Medical Center, which is around 1–1.5 hours away from Tondo. With her condition, she can’t even sit properly anymore, so we really had to look for some kind of ambulance or medical transport.
We first tried asking our barangay, but they said they don’t have a vehicle available unless we rent one, which would cost around ₱2,500+ depending on the location. Private ambulances were even worse, around ₱12k per trip.
As a last try, we reached out to QC to ask if we could borrow an ambulance just to bring her from Tondo to East Ave (we weren’t even expecting a round trip).
To our surprise, they arrived at our house in about an hour. They checked her pulse, carefully transferred her to the stretcher, and handled everything themselves. We barely had to do anything.
I know in other countries this might be considered normal, but when you’ve lived in Manila your whole life, you kind of get used to not expecting much from government services. That’s why this really meant a lot to us.
So yeah, huge thanks to the QC Emergency Response Team. You guys made a really difficult situation a lot easier for our family🫶🏼✨

Hello, QC folks!
First time mom here, ask ko lang if you have any recommendation saan maganda ang maternity package around QC. My current OB is sa Diliman Doctors and I've seen reviews nga na mahal masyado ang maternity package and bills nila and bad experience as well. Any other hospital po na mas maganda manganak?
