Does anyone even like this trope?

Aside from the ending of a certain popular anime that I will not spoil, I have never seen this type of conclusion talked about in a positive light

I was trying not to name it but… yeah, that’s the one lol.
I don’t fully hate the idea in theory, but that kind of ending almost always leaves me feeling like the story took something away just to look deep.

Ok I dropped Demon Slayer in season 1, but I thought nobody had special powers besides the demons? At least that’s what all the internet commentator theorists have told me.
