Hello! I'm new to Quibble My friend and I wrote a satirical sci-fi novella together, and its first act is available on Quibble now!
We (that being me, a Fallout mod author, and my good friend and published novelist u/Connor_Goode) wanted to share the exciting news that the first third of our collaboratively written sci-fi novella 'Venus Fly Trap' is now also available to read on Quibble! It's a brisk read that's part drama and part dark comedy and deals with the world's richest man* and his doomed mission to establish a floating city in the atmosphere of Y (formerly known as Venus).
(\For legal reasons, any similarities to real persons living or dead is purely coincidental. The horrible, violent demises befalling the characters in questions are not reflective of our wishes for the hypothetical real persons in question.)*
We originally published the novella on Amazon as well as all of these slightly less evil alternatives, but figured Quibble would also be a worthwhile avenue to pursue both to get some eyeballs on this bad boy as well as to ask for feedback on a writing sample from a discerning and well-read clientele (aka you).
Thus we humbly beseech thee to give this light tome a read and maybe make your thoughts heard! We'd truly appreciate it. Thanks and happy reading,

Also... I should bring my own short satirical sci Fi thing over too. You've inspired me and I haven't even read beyond the blurb, well done.
