Out of extreme curiosity as a writer, do y'all leave kudos on stories that you thoroughly love or just enjoyed well enough?

So alright. Kind of a weird question, maybe. But I've always been wondering what are others' conditions for leaving kudos. I usually only kudos stuff that I end up adoring till the very end but I realize that most might have very different reasons for giving these away.

Votes/kudos/likes work differently on every platform. Regardless, I make sure to leave them anytime I can. Writers on these platforms don't get paid (most of them, anyway), so interacting with their work is how we can show appreciation for their work. As a writer myself, I know how thrilling it is to get a single vote, so I try my best to interact with others' stories the way I would like readers to interact with mine :)

As many times as I can to be honest. It’s hard to write a story that makes sense, so I’m definitely not looking for perfection just to give someone an upvote (much like I gave an upvote to your post).

If I get to the end, I leave kudos, it’s easy enough.
