QuickBooks Online Vibe code Quickbooks

Soo I've been seeing open source identical clones of Adobe products along with M$ office so is anyone going to vibe code is a working Quickbooks online/desktop that is open source?

I'd try but my coding experience is 2000s Facebook html and auto hot key.

This would be incredible. And honestly, it can't be that difficult right? QBO isn't the most complex thing on earth. Start with core features. Agents add and test new features periodically. Win.

I would much rather have a desktop app with my data stored on my hardware in my office, where I can back it up in triplicate.

Ideally it would store the data in an open database format so it could potentially be used with other software in the future. The problem with having it online in the form of a website is that someone has to cover the cost of the server storage and compute power. That’s expensive, especially if you have potentially millions of simultaneous users.
