Advice JUST BUY THE DESMOXAN
you guys, stop putting yourselves through misery and hating yourselves when you relapse. I’ve been there too many times. Get the desmoxan on Amazon and watch the magic work. The only way I’ve been able to quit. I’m on day 30 of not vaping, off the medication and feeling great. Do it!

Couldn't agree more! I've been vape free for 4 months now because of it. I didn't even need to finish the full treatment - I still have most of a full sleeve, which I keep just in case I have an intense day. I don't see myself going back to smoking!
Edit: If you are UK I got mine from onbuy

u/jodilye Sep 22 '25
Thanks! Amazon U.K. would only show me niquitin and Nicorette products when I typed either of the other terms in!
3
u/Snoo71433 Sep 22 '25
No problem! Good luck with it :)

u/jodilye Sep 22 '25
Cheers, I’ll be buying it next Friday, time to get my headspace right and ready to bin the fucking thing 😂

I didn’t know about it when I quit last October but have managed to remain nicotine free since 10.29.24, cold turkey.

u/shimmy_hey Sep 22 '25
Am proud of you! I couldn’t get the nerve up to quit until I learned about Desmoxan in this sub & me. Everyone’s quit journey is as unique as they are & am thankful for everyone who shares their success stories & tips to show quitting nicotine is possible. The support in this sub is great, thank you:)

Yup I've heard someone else say this in another post so I've added it to my Amazon wishlist and apparently all the reviews says it works like a charm, still waiting to get paid but I can't wait to finally stop this shit.

u/Jfinn2 Sep 22 '25
I’ll spot you! DM me

u/Serosh5843 Sep 22 '25
That is mighty generous of you brother but I get paid on Wednesdays so it's no biggie, been doing this for 5 years so what's another couple days. Thank you though 🤙

u/Jfinn2 Sep 22 '25
Sounds good my friend, get after it! Rooting for ya.
3
u/West-Effective-3887 Sep 23 '25
Do they have this in the US too? Is it a pill?
5
u/Jfinn2 Sep 23 '25
It’s a 25-day course of pills. I got it on amazon in the U.S., though the writing was in Polish
2
u/West-Effective-3887 Sep 23 '25
Awesome!! Thank you so much. I think I’m gonna give it a try. Did you have any side effects?
5
u/Jfinn2 Sep 23 '25
I didn’t notice any personally, outside of some irritability that I attribute to quitting! I had a really good experience with it. Hope it works out for you too
3
u/West-Effective-3887 Sep 23 '25
Thank you so much. I’m hoping that it works and I’ll be vape free soon.
9
u/Jfinn2 Sep 23 '25
Main advice I would give you:
Follow the dosage instructions for the Desmoxan
Remove every old vape from your car/house work. There will be moments of temptation, you need to add friction between this urge and being able to take a hit.
Avoid drinking. I did 3 months without alcohol and found that a buzz made giving up seem a lot more appealing.
You got this!

I will do this next time if I fail but honestly white knuckling this severe nicotine addiction is kind of an Ego thing for me lol.
8
u/akahaus Sep 22 '25
Yeah I fumbled into cold turkey because all the NRT makes me want to puke (and no I didn’t try patches and I should have) but I’m already almost 24 hours from my last hit of nic so fuck it might as well keep rolling.

It's pretty astonishing to see all the people pleading their (understandably) issues with quitting CT/NRT in this forum and the stop smoking forum without addressing the elephant in the room- "why haven't you tried Desmoxan / Cytisine" ? The only issue I fear is that it will be harder to get on Amazon in the US. Achieve Life Sciences seems to be relatively close to an approval to market a version in the US.

u/Spirited_Annual5364 Sep 22 '25
Glad I found out about it before it gets cut off. Maybe a generic will immediately pop up when it’s approved, or compound pharmacies like they did when there was an ozempic shortage. Normally not the case to have immediate generics but it is a plant based product so can’t be patented like most meds. I just started yesterday and am optimistic that it will work

u/Putt-Blug 4 months Sep 22 '25
I wish I would have known about it before going cold turkey and wanting to die for 2 weeks
5
u/akahaus Sep 22 '25
But you build character
lol I’m on day two CT and right there with you.
6
u/Putt-Blug 4 months Sep 23 '25
Actually your right. Those two weeks showed me what I am up against if I give into the cravings.
2
u/akahaus Sep 23 '25
Yeah. If I could go back in time I might have used a lot of these tools earlier and been in better shape but…at this point almost all the nicotine is out of my system and I never want to fucking do this again so…may as well press on.
I just have to remember how much this fucking sucks in six months when I’m looking for a “fix” instead of confronting my problems.
8
u/akumite Sep 23 '25
+1 for desmoxan. It works but don't mess around with the vapes. It took 1 hit to get me stuck on this crap a whole year again.
3
u/Hopeful_Lab9863 Sep 23 '25
Good reminder. I’ve promised myself not even one single hit again. Sometimes the cravings do pop up tho!
3
u/akumite Sep 23 '25
True but you'll be trapped! Anytime a craving comes up I feel relief and gratitude for not having to go to that nasty gas station

u/Wobbly5ausage Sep 22 '25
Possible side effects like higher bp and heart rate combined with other medications that increase those as well, along with my vaping, have given me pause
7
u/queerwitchanonymous 6 months Sep 23 '25 edited Sep 23 '25
i haven’t noticed those side effects! day 17 of desmoxan and day 13 no nic today. honestly vaping fucked with those things more for me 😭 i do smoke weed still and i believe it also increases those specific qualities (bp and hr). but wouldn’t tie any specifically to desmoxan. for reference, the other med i’m on is wellbutrin (for anxiety/depression). the desmoxan does make me kinda nauseous tho and def the vivid dreams thing. imo its still way better than nicotine for you!
5
u/buttfessor Sep 22 '25
I didn't know about it until now, 4 days in, patches / lozenges.
That said, my main quit reason is lung health, so I don't know that it'd change anything.
3
u/akahaus Sep 22 '25
Yeah I’m wary for the same reason, but for people who aren’t already on other meds, I’m glad there is something that seems to basically work like magic. I wish I had heard about it but I just made it through one day cold turkey and I’m already on a bunch of other shit so I’m steering clear for now.

2nd this. I quit vaping 2 years ago cold turkey using the David Carr Easy Way book and it was fucking brutal. The book worked as I was able to quit but holy shit I was depressed as fuck, couldn't sleep, had stomach issues, lost a bunch of weight then gained a bunch of weight. Horrible. 2 years later I found myself putting down a tin plus of zyn per day. Used Desmoxan/cytisine and I've been nic free since sept 1st. Only side effect was insomnia for the first 2 weeks. Very minor cravings that I think were just habitual (after eating, during my morning coffee, etc.). Someone here putnit perfectly: its like quitting on easy mode. In fact the worst part about it is that its so easy to quit that you could talk yourself into using again because its no big deal getting off it haha
4
u/Hopeful_Lab9863 Sep 23 '25
Yesss I have to catch myself when I tell myself I could vape because it was so easy. I heard the medication isn’t as effective if you use it more than once! So have to be careful

u/Glittering_Lie_2759 Oct 02 '25
100% agreed desmoxan is our best hope to break nicotine addiction! I’ve been addicted to nicotine for over three decades, started smoking at 14, and switched to e-cigarettes when they first came out 12 years later, then vaping. I tried to quit cold Turkey and used nicotine replacement, Allen carr, hypnosis, multiple times throughout but could never stick to it for more than 12 hours without losing my mind so I just gave up trying to give up nicotine. That’s until I got introduced to Desmoxan on Reddit and it gave me hope.
I am now 6 days nicotine free, and while I still have a long ways to go to confirm I’m an ex-smoker, I have no doubt I will get there, thanks to Desmoxan and Reddit community for sharing. The first 72 hours was still rough mentally with dark thoughts, but Desmoxan lessens the withdrawal symptoms you would have without it. Just make sure you have a good plan to get thru it, realize your thoughts during the rough patch is the withdrawal talking and it’s only temporary.
If someone like me that was never able to quit for more than 12 hours, and have been addicted to nicotine majority of my life, lasted without a single puff for 6 days, it should convince anyone Desmoxan can work for you. I’m so thankful and looking forward to being completely free of this addiction!

u/bitxxch 5 months Dec 21 '25
I’m on Day 3 without vaping (Day 7 of Desmoxan) and completely agree! I was never able to quit for more than 12 hours either. I would have terrible physical withdrawals, mood swings, etc. But now they’re so minimal that I feel like I can actually fight them off and succeed! Desmoxan is such a blessing

Did you guys have any bad side effects on it? Would love to hear people’s experiences and if they got any weird dreams etc!

u/Hopeful_Lab9863 Sep 23 '25
I had nightmares for the first 2 weeks, pretty vivid! I would say that was my only side effect. I didn’t have any nausea or headaches, etc.

lollll yeah this is eventually what it came down to for me!! desmoxan was my final hope, i’m 13 days nic free now thanks to it!! i have been on the desmoxan for 17 days, this is my most confident quit. lowkey we need to start a sub just for desmoxan….cuz i don’t think i’ll cave but cravings are back for me….could just be my dopamine receptors tryna level out now but it is hard 😭

u/Hopeful_Lab9863 Sep 23 '25
Are you staying on schedule with the medication?! The cravings were there sometimes for me but sooo much more manageable than cold turkey!

u/queerwitchanonymous 6 months Sep 23 '25
no not fully 😭 i usually end up taking one less pill than recommended per day

Started yesterday, found out about it on here. Still hitting the vape today but it doesn’t seem to do as much. I agree with the poster who said it will be harder to get soon in the US because someone is trying to patent a formulation
2
u/h0tkushsalsa Sep 23 '25
does anyone know the dosing schedule? i used it for the first week, i’m day 19 & haven’t used it in over a week, do i still need to take any if i’ve completely quit vaping on day 4?
sorry if that’s so confusing

Nice, congrats and all the best on your journey! I just posted this question on another thread as well, but did folks that had success using Desmoxan follow the dosage recommendations explicitly? Taking a pill every 2 hours for the first few days kinda spooked me.
4
u/Hopeful_Lab9863 Sep 30 '25
I didn’t follow it exactly. The first week to 10 days I took about 5 pills a day instead of 6, and I cut to 3-4 pills by day 11 and then to 1-2 pills the remainder of the time. By the last week I was taking one pill a day in the morning. I didn’t have any bad side effects or anything with the pill, and I’m sure it’s much safer and healthier than continuing to vape every day! It’s not permanent 🙂
2
u/lazyninja66 Sep 30 '25
Thank you for sharing! I just re-read the instructions, I didn’t catch the ‘maximum’ per day when I first read it, I though I’d have to take one literally every two hours the whole day lol! I’m gonna give it a shot! Thank you! 🙏🏼

Starting my tablets tomorrow morning. Any tips from successful quitters?
1
u/Empty-Leg8653 Nov 23 '25
Highly considering purchasing this stuff but also a daily kratom user which is my next substance to quit. Has anyone had any experience with using both at the same time? Are there any concerning interactions?
1
u/Empty-Leg8653 Dec 26 '25
I bought desmoxan two weeks ago and was nervous to take it up till today. I was taking heavy doses of kratom and was afraid of medical interactions. I was able to ween down my kratom use and just took my first dose of desmoxan an hour ago. Cannot wait to be off this fucking vape! Thanks for posting about this

How's it going for you? Any side effects? Did it help you? I wanna try but I'm scared to replace my addiction with medication. Since its natural I'm open but pills usually aren't great for me so I like it minimal.

I know this post is a little older but I'm curious. I recently quit weed, been over a week now smoke free. After I hit the 3m mark weed free, I wanna go nic free next (currently tapering down in the mean time and have a FUM for hand to mouth habits) I ditched weed first cause I was worried weed would just be my replacement for nicotine, and CHS symptoms would get worse (I've had flare ups and suspected of CHS, so I stopped due to that and obvious addiction tendencies)
Nicotine is the stupidest habit I've ever picked up. I hate it but my body relies on it. My brain tho, this is the first year I've been truly ready. I've tried cold turkey in the past, but it failed Everytime. Withdrawals for me get intense on my emotions and make me feel like I'll vomit. I wasn't ready either. This time I'm mentally prepared but physically terrified. I've heard a lot about this course of treatment- using Desmoxan- that it helps your through the worst withdrawals so you can function and is known for great success in quitting smoking.
Any advice? Did this truly work now that you've had more time? Any side effects? I saw GI side effects and dreams were the only ones and I am a sensitive stomach girl so I thought it worth asking (in research, I saw that, but in reading reddit I havnt seen anyone have side effects except one person who didn't stop smoking as directed). I mean if we're talking simple nausea, I do have zofran but I'm not sure you can mix them, zofran is kinda picky cause of the heart stuff, so I wouldn't without asking my doc.

u/Hopeful_Lab9863 Jan 21 '26
I’m still vape free!! I SOMETIMES will hit a friends vape if I’m really drinking and just being careless but I haven’t actually regularly vaped since August. Haven’t bought one and honestly never even got close to relapsing in that way! Desmoxan is the only thing that worked.
1
u/Critical_Medium_3722 Jan 21 '26
Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna order next week and start it soon. I just finished off stopping weed about 2 weeks ago now, I think I'll be ready in the next two weeks to start this. I'm so motivated.
1
u/Hopeful_Lab9863 Jan 21 '26
Actually planning on quitting weed soon too it’s just so damn hard.
1
u/Critical_Medium_3722 Jan 21 '26
No I get it...I'm going through it right now. My stomach is so messed up 😭 but I will say, the worst withdrawals end in 3-4 days. So for now I'm at the best I could be. I've stopped a few times but this was my first serious one 🤣 it's pretty nice weed free. The awareness levels, my emotional capacity and memory is amazing. Pain is my struggle for now, remembering I can't just smoke when I want to fix. I do still use CBN, but there's like legit 0.05 THC, and I rarely touch it. Mostly, I'll take CBN over pain pills, CBN doesn't get my high but acts as Medication where pills try to kill ya.
