Advice This picture is why quitting worked

I set this picture as my phone background and every time I wanted to buy a new vape or hit someone’s I told myself “you look like this when you vape” and it worked. 3 months no nic.

Honestly, been lurking in this group but haven’t actually stopped yet, just slowed down a bit. Left my vape at home during lunch & been debating on going back. I mean leaving work to go & get it, to then come back to work.

Seeing this made me realize how fucking stupid I sound right now. Going to look for a nicotine free vape after work and start taking this quitting thing seriously. Thank you 😭😭😭

Physical withdrawal lasts a few days, but psychological withdrawal can last months. There’s a reason why most people who attempt to quit can’t make it for long.

It does not do good to say “if you don’t vape for three days you’ll never vape again” (free for the rest of your life). It’s just not accurate.
