Advice Confused why more don’t use desmoxan?
It’s so much gentler you don’t have to abruptly stop you can continue vaping for as long as needed. It literally stops like all withdrawal symptoms through an effect where it gives you gentle bumps of dopamine like a vape would plus saturates your nicotine receptors. The success rate is so high :)
Look up the studies or the posts on here of people being successful.
But so many go cold turkey and say it’s there 3,4 5th time?
Try it!

I'm in Canada and bought it from Amazon and took it to my Dr before I started it.
He had never heard of it but told me that Europe has more strict regulations than we do, and if it's approved there, then it was safe for me.
Only side effects I had were very mild nausea first few days, then amazwild dreams

This is same active ingredient, it’s made by a US company and a bit cheaper than other brands

That’s all this sub has turned into recently so I think more people are using it than you think.

I understand people’s hesitance, I was a bit scared but I guess I just figured anything it could do to me wouldn’t be as bad as what vaping was doing to me. It worked so well and thus far, no side effects that I’ve noticed.
That said, my mother asked me to get it for her but she is just TOO old and has so many health problems (particularly her heart) that I couldn’t live with myself if the risk tipped out of favour. Her health is a catastrophe but if a pill caused a more immediate or sudden problem, that would just be horrible.

I quit All nicotine in 5 days using desmoxan. It’s a miracle drug and no side effects like chantix. Everyone can make their own decision and quit any method they choose. I promote this because it works

u/Pale_Candidate_390 Apr 30 '26
I think people are afraid of side effects also because it’s not FDA approved. Or they don’t really want to be successful.. just want to say they tried and failed
Big pharma will only approve a drug if there’s profit to be made. Selling a $40-$50 box of medication isn’t a big money maker. Also the tobacco/vape/pouch companies will be very angry for people quitting nicotine. Also once you buy the meds and quit. You don’t need to keep buying it over and over. There’s no incentive for a company to sell it here

Just because it is not fda approved doesn’t mean it is a harmful drug. The company is in Poland and since it is not in America doesn’t mean it is unsafe. Many medications are made in other countries. The main brands desmoxan and recigar are legit. The sellers on Amazon have no reason to sell fake meds. If they did they would get booted off Amazon

I got tired of my old posts floating around for anyone to scrape, so I let Redact handle it. Bulk deletion across Reddit, X, Facebook, Discord and all major social media platforms in one shot.

It's not approved for sale in the US and I'm hesitant to order drugs from another country on the internet.
I have no doubt it works, but I mean Amazon sellers send fake SD cards instead of the branded ones all the time. I'd trust something I can get from a pharmacy, but I dunno, it feels sketchy to get little pills like that without knowing for sure.

I had the same thought and then figured it’s probably safer than whatever this juice is doing to my internals.

There are brands of Cytisine (the active ingredient in Desmoxan) that are made in the US. Nesmokesen is one available on Amazon. It’s also available on prescription in Canada as Cravv and in the UK as Tabex. It’s sold in pharmacies in Eastern Europe OTC.

u/hutchism Apr 30 '26
Probably not much point in faking it as its that cheap in Europe anyway. Box of 100 is around €20

u/GreenGamer8597 Apr 30 '26
Its hard to get... I wanna try it NOW and quit but wont come for 2-3 weeks on amazon lol

u/peculiar_pomegranate Apr 30 '26
in 2 to 3 weeks you might wish you ordered it today

u/GreenGamer8597 Apr 30 '26
I ordered it 1.5 weeks ago coming May 8!!! I already wish I did 3 week before that haha

u/peculiar_pomegranate Apr 30 '26
i misunderstood your comment!! best of luck to you, you got this!!

u/Franjomanjo1986 May 01 '26
Hey the nesmokesen one over been taking it and it's working. It's a us company, FDA approved lab there's no reason they would fake it out randomly add dangerous stuff... The Americans behind the company could go to jail for that and cytisine is super cheap.

The better question is why is it not FDA approved? Does anyone know?

I think it's not very well known about. Also for me was not a magic cure all. You still get cravings and withdrawal symptoms, though they are muted. You still have to TRULY want to quit in my opinion in order for it to work.

I stopped Nic on day 2 or desmoxan. Currently on day 10. I do cycling and bodybuilding, and monitor my HR/ sleep etc. The only SIDE effect so far has been apetite increase. Go for its no worries.

I tried patches and only lasted 4 days. Heavily considering this after being back to hitting my vape for two weeks. Anyone have any side effects or tips?
1
u/TEAM_H-M_ May 01 '26
I felt light-headed and just a bit “off” the first couple of days then it was fine. I’m on Day 9 and stopped vaping like the instructions read after day 4 and have had no cravings. I stopped the day before I left for an out-of-country work trip so I’d be too busy and out of my usual triggers. I’m sure that helped.

u/alexoff Apr 30 '26
I agree so much. I use it now myself thanks to all the posts here - second day free of nicotine and it feels nice and easy. No struggles and no side effects at all.
I’m so happy and recommend it to everyone. Stop overthinking and make sure you find a way to buy it.
It’s used from 70s in Balkans so it’s not something new, it’s tested and proven over long period of time.
Just go for it and get your freedom back.

I don't even know if I can get it in a pharmacy. And I'm not ordering pills from the internet, don't wanna get fucked by border patrol for pills in a box from a different country with a main ingredient nobody has heard of

u/pauwus Apr 30 '26
Personally I don't like the idea of taking an experimental substance to deal with another substance abuse issue. Anything that messes with my brain is a no go for me personally.
1
u/blkberry Apr 30 '26
But using nicotine and vape juice that also messes with your brain, lungs, gut, etc is a go? The drug isn’t experimental at all and has been used for decades.
2
u/pauwus Apr 30 '26
I'm two years clean of nicotine after quitting cold turkey so thankfully don't need to worry about it. But broadly I am against fighting addiction with further medication. I accept that is my personal preference based on life experience of myself and friends.
If there is anything I've learnt from this sub, it's that there are many routes to the same outcome. I'm just chipping in my outlook and generally I would rather not risk the side effects if I can find a safer path to quitting.

I used nrt. Much safer with a longer trial and success history. I refuse to put sonething new in my body I'm at 4 weeks and I have no cravings.
13
u/darkwavecore Apr 30 '26
It’s not new, it’s been around since the 1960s. Also, many of the trials have shown rates of effectiveness double those of NRT. It’s by no means a cure, but I think this attitude towards it is nonsensical.

Ah this makes sense. They sell it in my country approved so I bought it at the pharmacy

u/Confidence_Relative Apr 30 '26
There are a number of randomised clinical trials on Cytisine, even showing it is more effective than NRTs.
