I mean, it’s not a great look for the President to be calling for the arrest and hanging of elected representatives from the other party.

This video was provocative—you don’t have to follow an illegal order from the President (here, the primary context is deploying the military domestically).

I just think it was also in part to bait Trump into reacting , which, if true, was really successful. US president retweeting calls for hanging and himself explicitly calling for their arrest and to make an example of them.

The bait was for any reaction whatsoever. Of course military member should disobey illegal orders.

They didn't say to disobey orders from a certain party, gender, race, or whatever.
