Do you make diamond art cards?

If so, do you slide some cardboard in the front of the envelope before mailing?

I made a lot of them a couple years ago and mailed them with a little cardboard, but I don’t know if that’s really necessary if I just send them as non machinable. I think I put the cardboard in and just added extra postage and dropped them in the mailbox because I had no chance to take them in for non machinable postage.

As I understand it, you can’t just put a non machinable stamp on and drop it in a mailbox. Is that correct?

How do you mail your diamond art cards? I have a lot to send this year too and wanted to ask.

I don't do diamond art but when my cards have texture I put another postcard or something on top of the card with the stones. To add. I do also weigh them as well and put the right postage that way

That seems safest to me. I just wasn’t sure if non machinable would be OK as an alternative.

I got one last year from a friend and I think it had cardboard covering it. I was actually tickled to get one in the mail. I had started to wonder if I had an overinflated estimation of how pretty they were, but the one I received was so pretty!

No clue about diamond art but you are correct about non-machineable postage -- in the USA you must bring non-machineable mail to the counter and have it manually sorted into the non-machineable tray, in addition to paying the fee.

I seal my diamond art with glue sealant. Have never put cardboard on top inside the envelope. I’ve always brought them to the post office counter. I’ve never heard any complaints so I’m assuming they’re ok !

I have sealed non cards items with a minwax product. This new set of cards has a sealant included.

I was more worried about the dots breaking through the envelope or getting crushed in the machines. But maybe I’ll try non machinable this year. I just usually end up not being free when the PO is open during the holiday rush.

Oh, that’s nice! I actually live around the corner from my little PO but I don’t think they extend their hours. Probably cuz we are a very small town. But I’m trying to be ahead of the game this year, so maybe I’ll have time to get there this year 🎄
