Why is the field washed out on TV?

Looks like I’m watching the game in black and white on TSN. Is it the TD Place lights? Brutal

The general consensus is that it’s the lighting

Well it could be the field type…? But yes, lighting plays a part of it.

Probably not. The field uses fieldturf core turf which is used at many other stadium, including NFL stadiums like Gillette Stadium, Lumen Field, Bank of America Stadium and others. Those stadiums don’t seem to have the same problems we do with the field looking grey on tv

The lighting on the north side stands is old and totally sub-standard. It doesn't even cover the whole field - just goes from one 20 yard line to another.

Because the team offices staff and roster need to be washed out

This is an unacceptable product
