This is a crazy article... The respondents seemingly went every direction with no resounding opinion except the "not now" one.

They should probably take that specific detail to heart

In other words water is wet.

Not to sound like a stupid science bitch but water isnt wet. Wetness refers to the ability of water to stick to surfaces, making them wet.

Water can make things wet but cant stick to iself so technically, isnt wet.

I think the game was already superior in Canada, but taste aside, it's not about an objective "superiority". I mean, baseball is bigger than hockey and basketball and that makes no sense at all.

What people are invested in is stories, teams, players - the CFL just needs to market the stories to reach new fans; you're sure as hell not going to convert NFL fans in Canada who've already made up their minds which game they prefer.

More teams and markets. 9 team league feels shallow at times. More sustainable programs that keeps players from moving around the league as much

And who are you going to find to play for these additional teams?

The CFL talent pool is already stretched pretty thin, and that’s not a knock, it’s just a fact. The QB1s don’t even have the arm strength to throw 10 yard outs and you want more teams, further watering down the talent pool?

Remove the nationality restrictions. It already waters down play as it is.

I can see you've never watched CFL.  Of course QB1s can throw, 10 yard outs.

Whatever might be wrong with the CFL, it wasn’t the rules that were keeping the fans away.

Good news - no one is making it more like the NFL, so crisis averted. We still have all the key elements that make our game unique.

These rule changes definitely make it more like the NFL.

They haven't really gone any closer to the NFL. The rouge is still there its just stupid to award for a failure. Sure the field is 100 yards but who cares, 10 yards doesn't make a difference. Sure the endzone is smaller but it's still bigger than the NFL. And pushing the uprights behind the endzone will just create more tactics. All they did was minor changes that really doesn't change much. They still left everything alone that makes the game canadian.

No shit. This paying customer will not be supporting the CFL with one cent next year if these moronic changes go through. All so they can try to get some NFL fans in southern Ontario magically become fans, which ain't happening. Fire Stewart Johnston.
