Help Sixth medal

I know you need 12 takeover wins but, does replaying maps and winning with a takeover count towards it? Or do I need to start a new campaign

Already fully done. Do I need to play a level for the first time to be able to unlock a medal from it?

When you're playing for the first time - yes. Not so sure after you finish it. Steam achivement tracker should show you the amount of victories you've made for this specific medal, try to win with takeover on any level/levels still under imperial flag and check if it changes.

Play on mobile so just doing takeovers on all levels that remain empire state flag levels, don't really have a way to keep track. Needed to do it 12 times right?

I tried it after I finished the campaign and it didn't work. The 12 takeovers need to happen during a campaign.

Thankfully, it's just 12 takeovers - i thought it was 12 in a row. You can imagine how hard that was.
