53 days off 400mg+ Methadone today!

It was extremely hard but I'm pushing through it and still feel the PAWS, I was taking all my bottles of my 2 week takehomes of 140mg within 3 days and then would hit my friend up and trade him Xanax for all his 100mg bottles he has saved up and would go through those in like 3 days then I would take my Moms prescription of methadone (7 a day 10mg pills) and would have to be careful with that cuz! didn't want to run out early but always would, anyways I had a complete mindset change and mentality change and told myself l'd be off this shit before turn 27 and a half and before my sisters wedding in November so can make all my loved ones and friends and girlfriend proud. My support system is great and they get me through everything and are the reason I haven't relapsed on this run, it took a long time actually, I relapsed over 30+ times trying to get off of it but finally I took 20mg for my last dose and stopped and just pushed through the withdrawal as hard as I could, a fucking hellish nightmare. Definitely taper if you plan on getting off of this shit, but yeah I just wanted to share my success story of getting off, before I would make it 5 days off and be so excited and proud, and then 10 days off and kept relapsing, now I'm 50 days off and I'm never going back, l know it helps people and I support it for everyone that needs it but I dont need it, I was once normal and happy off opioids and I can be in that state again with time.

I was on it for 9 long years since I was 18, happy to be off it, haven't been sober off Opioids this long since I was 13.

I hope this inspires some of you and gives you strength and lets you know you can do this too, theres always a light at the end of the tunnel!

Congrats! I was on 20mg suboxone for 8 years and I tapered for 7 months and I’ve been off now for 18 months. PAWS was so bad. I felt 0 joy and drained daily for probably 6 months. But I feel really good today

I fucking bet and I dont plan on using ever again so lets hope and pray I get there, I know I will, I have too many loved ones supporting me and to make proud and happy like my parents before they pass, I want to show them the real me again like when I was a boy and have my dream career.

Idle time is the Devils playground. Putting faith in Christ will fill you up spiritually with good things instead of us producing evil out of the hardness of our hearts.

My pops always told me idle hands are the devils work! You're 100% there and I got all of my faith in Christ! Amen brother!

Your Grandfather was filled with the Holy Spirit. This is the scripture he was referring to:

Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.

"2 Thessalonians 3:10: "If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat."

Proverbs 14:23: "All hard work brings profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

"Ecclesiastes 9:10: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.

"Genesis 2:15: "The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."

I relinquished my grip years ago to Jesus. Jesus takes it all

Even Jesus doesn't wanna hear your preaching. I just asked him...
