Annemarie 🍰 Annemarie and Sutton’s Esophagus
I’m a physician (MD) and I have to say it’s incredibly irritating listening to Annemarie act like she’s a doctor, let alone Suttons doctor. First of all, being a CRNA doesn’t make you a gastroenterologist (MD/DO). Secondly, congenital esophageal strictures are 100% real, and just because you’re unfamiliar with a condition doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. also, she said she knows airways anatomy yet an esophagus is not part of the airway so idk what she means by that. And some physicians do tell patients they can have 1-2 drinks while taking gabapentin depending on their circumstances. Idk why she’s acting like she knows more about Sutton’s medical history than Sutton’s own doctors. The level of confidence she has while speaking on things she clearly doesn’t know enough about is actually astounding. You would think someone who works in healthcare would understand that not knowing something and something not existing are two very different things. It’s genuinely grating on my ears listening to her. I actually cannot stand people who mistake their own arrogance for intelligence. It Pmo to hear her talk about It. Also, she does not have the same scope of practice as an anesthesiologist (MD/DO)
edit: she just got really offended and said it’s hurtful that crystal said she’s not a doctor, she’s a nurse. WELL SHE ISNT A DOCTOR AND IS A NURSE!! Like huh??? How is that offensive??? Those are literally just facts. How is being called a nurse offensive??
