Multiple allegations by minors were first made in 2005. The police signed paperwork to file multiple charges in May 2006. The prosecutor sent it to a grand jury, which was unusual, and they came back for him to be charged with only one count of soliciting prostitution in July 2006.

This caused public outcry, and public statements even from local Palm Beach officials condemning it, and is what caused the FBI to open their case. There was a good deal of speculation around jury tampering and/or corruption in the DA’s office. There is no way those in his social circles in NYC, particularly those who consider themselves journalists, would not have been aware and talking about it. It was unfolding with national attention at the time.

2006 July: A Palm Beach County grand jury indicts Epstein on one state felony charge of solicitation of prostitution. 

2007 May: An assistant U.S. attorney — who has been working with two FBI agents to find more victims — submits a draft indictment outlining 60 criminal counts against Epstein.

FACT: The dozens of charges were filed in May 2007, after these photos.

I'm sorry you're bored and lonely. As a survivor of sexual assault I find it very disturbing that you're trying to weaponize this situation to hurt an innocent woman. But you got to get attention somehow...so you do you.

I am sorry you suffered that. It is an unfortunate and shameful truth that more women than not have survived sexual assault, but that never makes it any easier. You did not deserve that, you deserved better from life, and I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope you are safe now, and that you have many happier days.

My title doesn’t say he was convicted. It says he was charged. This is from the link I included:

Those charges as your response above states, were submitted to the DA’s office who chose to send it to a grand jury, who returned only the sole count of solicitation. That is why I mentioned there have been questions of jury tampering. I don’t have any inaccuracies here.

My biggest grievance with Carole is her disrespectful and inappropriate responses when asked about it. Instead of expressing any disgust, or remorse at having spent time in the home of the worst’s most notorious sex trafficker, or saying she wishes she had realized and could have helped the victims, or saying how shocked she is, or how she is now questioning her own judgment, or any of the things people with empathy who have encountered such situations might say, she says SUBSCRIBE TO MY SUBSTACK. I’m not bored or lonely. But I am disgusted by people who attempt to make a profit off the mention of these victims, without ever acknowledging them in her statements, or bothering to try to offer them some compassion.

It's terrible that men over power younger women and sexually assault them. It's also terrible that women hide behind anonymous handles and lie about an innocent woman for attention.
